Great, informative vids👍. Do you know if the spring pistons and gas rams are interchangeable as well, the trigger groups? I'm torn between the the varmint. 22 and the fusion mach 1. 🎯❤️🇺🇸 oh yeah, I just subbed 😎
Awesome, thank you so much for your subscription.😃 They are interchangeable if you have the right trigger for them. For instance I have my gas spring and trigger group from my Gamo Hornet Maxxum in my Gamo Varmint. The gas spring has a different setup, so you will need a different trigger for conversion.
@@danielruprecht8932 They do have a cat trigger designed for the spring piston rifle. That big Gamo Jungle Magnum is spring piston and has a cat trigger.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 I messaged them and they said they didn't sell trigger groups and discouraged any mods. Do you have a source for parts? Thanks for your time
Hello I have watched a lot of your videos.. I got this gun for 195 .. I am wondering if I should return it ? I seen your other video talking about the plastic breach pin not doing its job or in other words falling.. which company makes them with metal instead of plastic? How long did your mach 1 last? I am a back yard shooter targets and cans not at a high volume. I got the UTG hunter scope on the way.. do you think it will be ok on the Mach 1? Sorry for putting multiple questions in one comment.. hope you have a great day and thank you again for your videos!!
@@jmadri1 Thank you so much!😃👍 And thank you for your questions. I still have my Gamo Whisper Fusion Mach 1 22, but I rarely shoot it after it broke 2 scopes. I also don't care for the shot cycle I believe it is very violent. It's fully going to be up to you whether you keep it or not. Personally I won't buy any more Gamo's until they produce them with steel breach blocks and steel wedge detents and steel coiled springs. This is my opinion and you can do with it what you want. I would return the Gamo and buy a Cometa. I have heard nothing but good about this company and their rifles. I will leave a link to their site. keystoneairguns.com/ Ps, Leapers are good scopes and the only one that I ever had broken was on a gas ram air rifle. Ps, let me know about your decision.😃👍
Hi Chuck, I'm new to your channel and have watched several of the videos you have posted, particularly on the fusion Mach 1. I've been comparing the fusion to several other guns in close to the same price range as far as build and what drives them. You seem to satisfied with this one from the videos you have put up over the past year regarding it. I decided to pull the trigger so to speak and bought a refurbished one off the gamo sight today. I contacted cs via email and they replied most of their returns have seen very little use. So, I'm hoping I receive a good one. I'm looking forward to it. Blessings to you and your family.
Hi Chuck, nice to hear from you, Happy New Year! I can't believe I haven't shot it yet! I mounted a Barska air rifle scope on it. It is a sweet looking rifle. I'm surprised at the weight of it. It should pack a pretty good punch!
That's a great rifle, good shooting too. I have been know to shoot the odd camera and I've found some really good deals on replacements, with bullet proof cases. Haven't hit one yet but I know I will.
Hi there , I am new to your channel. Thank you for taking the time to review these Gamo products. I have THe Gamo Whisper Maxxim IGT .22. Its a stange looking rifle , raked and sloped pistol grip exaggerated Holes and cutouts on the stock , plastic trigger .... I have it zeroed at 55 meters New Zealand metric. Will hit 50mm groups every time no problem shooting 15.5 gr Gammo comp grade or h/n High Impact 17.5 gr . Both far exceeded my expectations as far as Downrange damage as I use for pest control. The main point is the trigger and safety setup , its this (as you know) plastic holey trigger that slightly wobbles. and yes it is adjustable with 2 stage as you said. Is there an upgrade available or alternative to this trigger assembly???
Thank you for stopping in to check out my channel 😉👍. No upgrade in the trigger that I know of. The CAT trigger is top of the line for Gamo triggers. Using an aftermarket trigger screw makes a gigantic difference in the performance of this rifle 2.5mm×12mm.
I have the Gamo Varmint .177 the scope was not good at all, upgraded to a Tasco Air 3-9X40 a huge difference, tried a few different pellets, the found a old pack of Crosman Copperhead .177Cal 7.9 gr flat, they shoot on real accuracy, after sighting the scope shot a 3/8" group at 15 yards and on like some flat nose these will go through a 1' spruce board. These are about 7 years old so not sold under the Copperhead name, But found the Cosman Premier Match Grade .177Cal. 7.9 gr Flat head. Most likely the same pellet just under a different name. It is amazing that the Flat head group so much tighter than the other shape heads. I am getting a .22 Cal but trying to decide over the Gamo Whisper Fusion Mach 1 or the Gamo Replay 10X Magnum IGT gen 2 or some other one not fussy about the 10 shot mag just as soon single load.
Great review, ik think you're the first one who tested the ft pnd energie on the Mach 1. I have the gamo black 10 maxim igt with the same power plant. Do you know the power of the other gun, so ik know the difference? Thanks and looking forward for other reviews. Greatings from the Netherlands 👍
Thank you John. The Gamo Hornet Maxxim 22 is about a 16 FPE rifle. Other similar platforms such as the Gamo Swarm Maxxim Gen 3 22 will have the same energy. A new Gamo Swarm Maxxim Gen 3 22 will have slightly higher power because of grease in the compression chamber that has not burned off yet. Personally I like the less powerful version. It's easier to cock, is very accurate and more than enough energy to take down any squirrel or rabbit.
Thank you. The rifle is still breaking in. The accuracy is getting better, while the energy is going up. With the CPHP 14.3 I got a low of 838 FPS=22.78 FPE and a high of 855 FPS=23.21 FPE. This is a powerhouse 💪.

What I really like about your videos is it's showing how crappy scopes are on spring guns and you have definitely proved that in your videos
What it shows is how violent gas rams are on scopes. I have had no problems with spring piston rated scopes on my pring piston rifles.
Impressive.... Incredible group... Even though your target was bouncing back and forth... Great open space for shooting too. Best regards

What kind of scope you have on the pellet gun
It was a Hammers 4-12×40. The Gamo Whisper Fusion Mach 1 22 broke the scope.
