why are those stock screws loose? I have the Gamo Swarm Whisper 10x gen1 and before I bought it, I read reviews where the autoload feeder were breaking and then I noticed other reviews that said those stock screws needed to be tightened and I made the connection that maybe the loose stock screws had something to do with the autoloader breaking because it was no longer aligned correctly that the metal wires on the side of the loader were dislodging, maybe? Anyway I had to loctite the stock screws because they kept getting loose I guess because of the recoil. Finally I think the Viper is just the Swarm Whisper rebranded
What happens when the air piston craps out? As far as I know Gamo won't send you a new piston or piston seal. So does one have to send the gun in to get it replaced? Also since I trust metal mainsprings more than air pistons for longevity, can one get a particular mainspring and guide rod to put into the Viper instead of using a air piston?
Hey there. So I have a lot of Gamo IGT rifles, and I can't remember a single time when one of the gas rams has failed? I'm not saying they never do, but I'm just sharing that I've never had one go flat on me. I can't say that about Crosman and Hatsan, both of which I've had several go dead just sitting on the shelf. Gamo's seals are tested for tens of thousands of shots, and their gas rams are also robotically tested for durability. Now, if you need service, send your gun back to Gamo. Here in the US, it's super easy. If it's under warranty, then it's covered. If it's not, you can request a flat-rate service that will cover anything wrong and get your gun back to you, all repaired by their in-house gun techs. If you have experience working on these products, and I have a lot, then you know that it takes specialized gear and know-how to safely repair them. Best to leave the work to the Pros. If you want access to excellent third-party parts, take a look at Vortek Products. They make complete rebuild kits, seals, springs, etc. Cheers AGW
My gamo swarm bone collector doesn't like the red fire pellets mine likes the hunter extreme but my scope crapped out my friend Joe and I had a lot of fun shooting cans out of trees and off of strings at 40 + yards ,what's a great scope and would a 44mm short fit
This is the most detailed & informative video on the Gamo Viper & Bone Collector that I've seen 👍👍
Info for you, UTG has a one piece 2” offset rings for better eye relief. Works well with gamo rail system dovetail and recoil pin also.
The bone collector is by far my favorite gun. I have a Hammers 4-12x40 on it. Super accurate with that combo.
I wish the Hammers scope had a better eye relief, my only issues.
So what would be the recommended small game gin the viper or the bone collector

Air you aware of how expensive a hawk airmax compact scope is? Its way more than the rifle itself...
