Revisiting this video today really reminds me how much Kenan has done to fan the flames of my passion for turtles and tortoises. I've been watching since I was a little kid and still do. I love where the channel has gone, but this was some prime kamp kenan content right here.

Incredible video! Loved getting a tour of this amazing turtle conservancy. I would love to visit a place like this in person. It also gave me a lot of great new ideas for plantings and hardscapes for my new tortoise enclosure, since I am also located in California. I love watching your videos and learning new things! Really funny looking back at these old videos that are shot like an animal planet tv show episode. I find kenans newer videos where it’s just him and a camera a lot more wholesome and down to Earth. Just find it more enjoyable, just a dude who loves his animals.

Hey I'm from SC and because of the video you made of when you were visiting the reptile zoo at Myrtle Beach I'm going there soon to see some reptiles 😊 I'm 19 with a 2 year old lol I don't regret it for nothing but I loveee reptiles. I love everything that lives but my main interest are reptiles. I have 2 red ear sliders. I wasn't going to get any kind of reptile at first because I know it's alot of responsibility but when saved my 1st red ear slider, I haaaad to keep him .. I would have soooo much more but as a teen mom I have a lot going on.. Really curious though, if I were to get a tortoise, what kind should I get ?
I always here you can't keep different species of tortoise in the same enclosure ( because of disease ) Yet this expert has a Sulcata with his Galapagos? 3:22 ... any thoughts?
