Hell yeah! I live in Scranton Pa and we just got 24" of snow here, I got excited about building channels to let the snow melt through to the sewer...I know exactly why you get excited building stuff for animals! It is always fun to try and think of the best way to make something to look good and function...Like I said before, you have the dream job...I wish I lived near you I would volunteer just so I can hang out with someone with a like mindset and all the cool animals.

Yeah I agree create habitat for the tortoises is the best part ;) I spend my free time in my outdoor enclosure to keep it in good condition for my tortoises

Filling absolutely the same, as you described when creating the habitat for reptiles in the best way they will like it and always keeping upgrading it with fresh ideas))) Unfortunately, I don't have a backyard, and living in pretty small apartment, so need to be even more creative to fit all ideas in small place) Btw just created a two-storied terrarium for my redfoots, the one of a kind :)

I've just been spending 3 days building a big tortoise table for a redcoat that I should be getting! It's huge and I have so many plans for it, it's going to have plants, grass and a water part that's going to look really cute! I'm super excited!!! :)

I actually have been uploading videos of my new tortoise, I ended up getting a Greek tortoise (Spur Thigh) rather than a red head. I live near the mouth of a large river, Ever time we get decent rain i go down to look for some driftwood for my reptiles, Amazing how excited you can get over a stick.
I think i was as psyched as you watching you build this cave! wish i could pull something like this in NC weather. (for now i'll stick to what i can raise in my fishroom)

Same! well..I've got a ton of reptiles, but no turtles :P I'm thinking when I'm older I'll rescue a sulcata tortoise from one of the many shelters we have in florida since people buy them as babies then dump 'em but I really have no interest in them

I love to do yard work every since I was 8, I was interested in plants so I would always buy plants and plant them/dig everywhere. I live in southern california and the ground is nearly like impossible to dig since its so hard I wish digging was as easy as it was in flordia

hey if you want to try a good non-lethal substance to clean there pools I would have to recommend using vinegar. like I said, non-lethal, kills the bacteria, and it just works pretty good
