    Good ,instructional video!!I have been taking violin lesson online on a reknown site(I will not mention the name),and working scales on Dvorak concerto nobody spoke me about the bow,I was thinking that is the highest note that is accentuated!

    Hi Ms. Lee, i’m new at violin and still learning how to read notes. I’m using simply piano to help me read notes (because it’s free) and it does work when I play the violin.
    But i’m confused which and what part of the strings should I do the bowing on the violin strings when I read the notes. Like if I see that the note is A accoding to the music sheet, how do I know if it is high A, middle A, or low A on my violin?

      Hi Rishelle, when it comes to understanding music notes, it would be helpful to learn to read music. For example, the note A with a ledger line above the staff is the note A on the E string. Happy music learning!
