For those planning on 1.4 Turbo Petrol Manual, an eye opener.
There is a design flaw where there is pickup issue in first and second gear, specially when going on an incline and slotting from 1st to 2nd. It's VERY UNSAFE to drive on hilly areas. It even struggles on the ramp of car parking area.
Second issue is Hill Assist, which do not disengage on pressing accelerator, but takes its own sweet time of 2/3 seconds.
Kia is promising an update to fix, but who knows when.
Pls do a thorough test drive on inclines, or better yet go for another brand/car.

May be Kia vehicles are good. But they have increased price of each varient of Seltos, Sonet and Carens. There's no price protection.. Now all of their vehicle's are over priced. I have booked Sonet by 16th Mar, 2022.. 2nd April they have hiked the price.. So think 100 times before booking Kia cars

मैंने इसका prestige diesal version लिया है, भाई इस गाड़ी को मैं मनाली, डलहौसी, और उत्तराखंड के पोंटा साहब जगह जा चुका हूं वो भी 7 लोगों के साथ मुझे कभी underpower नही लगी कार, पहाड़ो पर भी अच्छा भागती है। 3rd row में लंबे समय तक बैठने में दिक्कत आती है पर सीट बदल बदल के manage हो जाता है। जिसको लेना है वो ले सकते है गाड़ी में कोई कमी नही है।

I hv Swift 2016 Today I took Carens Diesel model Test Drive But I feel power lag compare to Swift in 2,3,4th gear.
No dought Engine is silent smooth but still feels power lag...

Actually, front part of this car doesn’t match with its rear body. It is like small compact suv front body join with big suv
that's why Kia call its a Recreational Vehicle.
It's dimensions match fortuner but design makes it look smaller

People want everything at throw away price yet expect luxury. But this carens looks very ordinary .. we had actually booked n cancelled it. No body knows what is in store after few months...would like to wait. I would rather prefer going back to Mahindra which currently have 500. Don't mind waiting...for 700. But can't trust Kia.

I booked kia carens..More features at cheap price...but built quality 👎...and also power lag.....so i cancelled kia carens top model and booked harrier dark edition...less features but built quality 👍, excellent road presence..a perfect SUV, awesome looks...such a beast.. muscular looks🔥
If you want to buy 7 seater...go for tata safari, xuv 700...if you planning to buy top model of kia carens which cost around 22 lac on road price....you can get 2nd top model of tata safari and xuv 700 on same price....top model of kia carens is not worth.....one model above base model is good

I have driven this car with 6 people and it doesn't feel underpowered at all. I am talking about the 1.4L Petrol varient. Power is more than enough than u will ever need. Ofcourse with 6 people in the cabin no car is suitable for a drag race 😂

Hyundai engines are never known for fuel economy. That is the area perfected by Suzuki.
Those who want 7 seater family car, and want to stay away from cheap taxi feel of Ertiga may like this car. But with rising petrol prices, not many will enjoy driving 12KMPL car
