- The Kia Carens has been with us for 6 months now and after having driven it for over 12,000kms, we have a fair idea of how your ownership is going to be like. Inthis review, we will dive into the details of how the experience has been, what aspects of the Carens we liked and which ones could have been better. Very smooth
No noise
Already crossed 10000 km
Absolutely happy after 10 years of ertiga experience.

0:50 0:53 I completed 35000kms for six month….so wonderful car n I took six big bags for 23kgs and 2 bags for 12kgs in 3rd row folded….datz a amazing boot space
Driven my 1.4T petrol Carens for 10000km now. Its a true extended family car. space, driving ease and comfort and low on maintenance are the high points. Quite happy with this well though product from Kia.
But I am getting lower mileage. 10 in city and 14 on highway.
I bought prestige 1.5 petrol in April 2022 .. I am very satisfied with the car and variant .. review is absolutely correct about pros .. In delhi city it gives mileage of 12 kmpl and highway around 17kmpl and that’s what I was expecting. So no complaint .

If u drive 90-110 then mileage will drop but speed upto 90 it's perfect. Please take test drive and then decide.

With Petrol version, I have clocked 24Km/l while driving at 70-80 Km/hr. Normally, almost everytime I can drive at 20-21Km/l in Carens. Quite good. Offcourse, roads have to be expressway. Within cities, average is almost 9-12 depending on the traffic. Overall, car is quite good, spacious, and comfortable to drive.

Sabse achi quality yeh hai ki kisi bhi 7seater car me last row me itna comfert nahi milega jitna is car me milta hai.. Iske alawa one tumble seat fold feature bhi bahut mast hai...
Overall bahut mast car car hai wo bhi 16 lakh ke budget me.

Third row seating me marazzo is the best
Guys I have top variant (Diesel Auto), In city it gives 16kmpl and on highway it gives 20kmpl - if crusing speed is 100kmph or higher. If you can drive slower on highway at around 70- 75kmph then it gives phenomenal 24-25kmpl. I also did a 110km short test once at 65kmph speed that time it delivered 32kmpl. So fuel efficiency is directly linked to cruise speed. I mostly drive at 100kmph on highways. Top speed clocked was 171 kmph at Lucknow Agra Expressway. And yes I am one of the first buyer in the country got it in march, booked on day 1 of launch. I travelled in it from north to east India on 16 days road trip in this car. It was comfortable. Already crossed 16000km+ in this car and there are absolutely no problems except we got a scratch on it due to some land slides in the himalayas.

Sir how is safety feature in Kia carens ? I am more inclined on Tata Nexon since it got 5 star NCAP rating... but family needs are more that of 7 seater and Tata safari is slightly out of budget.

i've already done 30k on mine its one of the sensible vehicle, blindly can recommend. but the suspension has to refined a little bit. nice mileage comparable with hatchbacks. overall a value for money vehicle

Kia Carens Diesel manual is best family car
I drove it for 25000km till the date...apart from it's seat cushioning it's a superb product....I feel it's better than seltos in most aspects. I came to know that XLINE IS offering separate screen for middle row passengers....aur kya chahiye deshwasiyo 25 lakh mai.

@@Eltonoconnor bro at 64kmph A cabin has collapsed, I am speaking about just @ 80kmph, this car's driver will not survive, not hater, in fact this is the only 7 seater under 20L with proper boot space and 3 row space ticks all boxes except the most crucial cabin integrity.

But then again, the sad thing about India is either safety is compromised for features, or safety is good, like tata, but lacks a lot of features. And the inbetween ground is hard to come-by. Infact I was looking for something in between, and ended up booking the Taigun.
@@Eltonoconnor exactly, the older gen scorpio's A cabin used to collapse, looked like a strong SUV but people used to die in crash....Mahindra has come a long way making safest cars in India....I was all about to book turbo dct carens but stopped after seeing gncap, if you see ertiga(but weaker engine) with same 3star rating has intact A cabin.

Just drive sensibly with all passengers buckled up with seat-belts and hope you don’t need the test of airbags and build quality. Even a 5 star car like a Mercedes couldn’t save Cyrus Mistry, Rishab Pant also got severely injured due to over speeding. So this 5 star NCAP rating is no guarantee of safety. It all depends on how you drive and follow traffic rules and safety measures. Another safety measure is to go for automatic variant as you will have both hands on steering wheel (plus no mobile phone usage or driving aggressively which cause 99% of the accidents). If Indian drivers could be more sensible on road so many lives could have been saved.
