I fell totally in love with these while still at school in 1970. This is a brand new car again now, (was this for Simon Cowell?🤔) still one of the best body shapes ever created! 🥰🥰🥰
Love it! My father had one for a short time in Regina Sk Can. He bought it in Toronto and drove it across the country like they were meant to be driven. Sadly lack of $$ it sat for a number of years in disrepair. Ended up selling to a mechanic in Regina and lost track of it. It’s always been the one that got away. I see you do not have the glass for it, which I am told is unobtainium these days, however I saw a British glass repair man is removing scratches etc making them look great and price seemed very reasonable. Would love to see one in person again. Other than ours I have never seen one again. I hope you enjoy the fruits of your labour and not leave it as a garage Queen. Well done with the restoration, we need fellas like you to keep them alive. Cheers
Hi @holtzr the front and rear screens are available new, there was a delay of 6 months getting a new windscreen as this was just post Covid but the car was finished when it finally arrived. I drove my Interceptor 4000 miles last year with one trip from Cornwall to the top of Scotland being almost 2000 miles on its own when petrol peaked at £2 per L
Thanks its a real labour of love and takes many hours to achieve this level of detail. Even parts that look good on most cars stand out as tatty against the amazing paintwork and new chrome.
I bought one of these new when I got out of the army. I would drive it from Orlando to Daytona in less than an hour. It had tons of torque and handled beautifully for a street car. I sold it after five years, the fellow that bought it totaled it two weeks later. I like your resto better than my brand new example. Cheers -
What a stunning resto of a fantastic car. Great vid too, made all the better by proper music and not the awful lounge bar muzak that plagues most vids!
What a beautiful car not sure about the colour but everything else looks great yes this car has to be driven but then I feel bad because all that hard work you guys have put into this wonderful vehicle well done everyone l even the person who owns this great car l hope they have fun 👍👏👏👏👍
Had teachers in school growing up that had Jenson brand cars, one had a Jenson interceptor, a beautiful vehicle. 8th grade gym teacher had a Jenson convertible of 70's vintage(75?)....it was like a American corvette, looked good from a distance, but up close....not so great.
Ther Jensen Is an itch I want to scratch . I have had two already back in my teens but today I drive a fabulous low mileage Jaguar V12 series 3 that is magnificent and according to Clarkson, the best car in the world and should I dispose of it for a Jensen , I might be dissappointed in the noise (Jag is inaudible and totaly silent) and in the comfort . Has anybody had experience of going from a Jag to a Jensen ?
I love Jags as well as Jensens but they are totally different cars, I would say the Jag is smoother and more engineered but a Jensen has a raw feel with its loud V8 although both great touring cars capable of long distances.
I don’t know which I enjoyed more - the restoration or Jethro Tull. 😂 Well done for both.
Best kind of hybrid - Old World style and craftsmanship with New World muscle!!
You r one of the first with great music thanks mate 😄

Lovely cars, the only one the wife has ever pointed to at a show and asked if we can have one.

Except nothing of the restoration was shown!
Great looking resto, but I see some copyright strikes in your channel’s future for music usage…
