  • The Jensen FF-R is the ultimate version on the reborn Jensen Intercepter produced by Jensen International Automotive. Powered by GM's LSA Supercharged 6.2litre V8, which produces 556bhp and 551lb ft of torque, this original 1968 Jensen FF now has the power to see off many of today's so call sports cars. But could you live with it every day? Watch this video to find out more!

Absolutely my fave car as a young lad in the 70’s, my father’s friend had a metallic bronze FF and I just loved it. This has to be by far the most exciting car that Harry has reviewed so far, probably from a nostalgic point of view maybe! I would like to see Harry review a Monteverdi 375/L .......Harry, please find one.

In the late 1970s I was a mechanic at a shop that had many customers with cool cars. One of them had a Jensen with a 440 and a Torque Flight trans. This car had very low miles and zero rust. I performed a tune up on it and part of the procedure was to remove the distributor and modify the advance curve. This improved performance that you could feel. I test drove it and "feel in love with it". What a great car!

The colour was "Cassis" upon further investigation it was actually Ford Aubergine ! Nonetheless it was a lovely colour. A few years back l was at a show and spotted a very nice Interceptor. I asked the owner about the car and he had just bought it and said some drummer once owned it . I told him it was probably John Bonham . A long time ago as a 15 year old I used to play a lot of table tennis and one day our team coach, who lived across the road from me, bought a bright yellow Mk 3 Interceptor.
I can still remember the first drive in that car to this day. What a beast, the looks and the impression it made when we pulled into the car park!

When I was a young lad there was a new purple Jenson interceptor FF with white leather interior with white vinyl roof and sheep skin over rugs a stunning looking car that came into a garage where my cousin worked.
The owner worked in London and lived up north he traveled on the A1 in the very early hours of Monday morning for work and traveled back every Friday night and that's all he used the car for as he used London transport through the week.
Every month he brought the car into my cousins garage to have new brake linings all round.
The owner reckoned he could get to London from Newcastle in 4 .5 hours with nothing on the road which was some feat for 1970 with all the roundabouts on the A1.

Friend of the family gave me a ride in his when it was new. What an indelible memory that is! His had a secret button to open the rear window. He wouldn't reveal the secret. Such a simple, clean and striking design. Interesting to compare a modern sports car with this classic design. No skirts, wings or flaps but if it came up behind you the urge to get out of it's way would be great! Father of a school friend had a couple of the earlier CV8s. He had been paralysed in a bad accident at Prescott but undaunted had hand controls fitted. To get kick down he would grab a walking stick and give the throttle a good jab. That large car would "lift it's skirts" and fly! Thank you Harry for all the excellent videos keep them coming!

Now I must get to the point of entry in this comment section. Firstly thank goodness for the Lamborghini Contach you own which I'm sure can be the wield of a dangerous drive if pushed without the required skill. Seeing you put the Jenson into manual pressing the accelerator to unleash power that had you grappling with the steering wheel visibly shocked, mildly disorientated, calling on all your supercar experience to make sense of the humongous beastly delivery pushing to a short-lengthed horizon was priceless and forgive me had me bellowing with laughter as your comments thereafter clearly denoted a sense of relief and suggestions how refinements might be integrated into this otherwise pleasant to look at package added further entertainment. You're a gentleman and probably the best automotive reviewer on TH-cam.
