Thank you for the videos. I am looking for something of good quality like the 5500 with an adjustable lengths piece rather than having to deal with 4+ pieces putting on and off, and also a piece for super close shaving or a foil head for a clean neck finish. Why Philips isn't making a middle ground between the 5500 and the multgroom series beats me. I'm basically looking for a 5500 with a foil head attachment. What would you advise, maybe another brand of similar quality that provides that? Thank you!
Hi, Marwan. Unfortunately, I have not yet reviewed a product that meets all those specifications and I wouldn't recommend a product for you until I was able to test it out. That said, one product that I have tested that will get you a close stubble finish and is a completely integrated device without attachments is the Conair I-Stubble seen here: th-cam.com/video/eHPLESt3zp8/w-d-xo.html. If you only need to go up to 5mm in length, then this may be a good fit, as this is the max cutting height (amzn.to/2XL8du8). There is a Lithium-Ion version called the Super I-stubble, but it is about twice the cost on Amazon. The Beard Trimmer 5500 is basically the updated version of the Series 5100, but I still enjoy the design of the Series 5100.
