Denzil the Golden Retriever - 4 Weeks Residential Dog Training

Denzil the Golden Retriever has returned home after his 4 week training stay. After a couple of visits from family members where they saw Denzil running around and being boisterous, they were worried about him knocking over his owner who is unsteady on her feet.
Denzil also could get extremely excited and would jump up and mouth his owners too aswell as attention barking. We have worked on introducing some calm into Denzils daily life, he can now settle on his bed with distractions at home aswell as in public such as cafes. The calmness in the house and boundary training along with impulse control have all helped with his counter surfing and trying to steal things!
Denzil is now able to follow cues such as it, down and wait around various distractions and in busy environments. He can remain focused on his handler in these places too. He can walk on a loose lead past dogs, other animals and people.
Denzil is able to recall away from other dogs aswell as other distractions promptly and can complete emergency stop too.
