i love this! I’ve grown up with English springers. My current ESS is 12 and got her right before middle school at age 10 and i remember the first day we got her like it was yesterday. I’m now I’m 22 and almost done with college and shes been such a welcome constant. Treasure the baby moments, they go to fast💛
As a British breeder of English Springers they give lots of love and respect it back, they love to play and run, they will run all day if you let them but please, dont have his tail taken off. That is cruel
Very nice. Lots of white on his coat. My kid just got a bitch for my dog. The dog, Trostki is a 3 year old springer and his fiance, Frida is 12 week old.
If you get one of these for a working dog I’d recommend docking their tail. It can cause injuries and discomfort for the dog if you don’t and I personally think they are ugly with long tails. Other than that nice puppy he’s adorable.
@@_TJ_0 Considering tail docking? It’s not even your choice. The breeders do it when they’re 2 days old. If you wait until they’re old enough to leave their mother it’s just cruel. Yeah I said it like you do it yourself but it’s common sense you don’t wait that long.I’d say around %80 of these dogs get their tails docked. It looks ugly and unnatural when they have a long tail since you rarely see them with long tails. Same goes for Boykins.
@@rebeccaoliver7977 South Carolina. I’ve seen at least 10 of these dogs and not a single one of them had a tail. I don’t know about other places but here the breeders dock their tails since most of their business comes from hunters.

The eyes start out blue and go to a golden brown. There's no other breed like them.

Why can't I find a spaniel with a tail?
It seems to be common practice in the US. Doesn't happen as frequently in the UK anymore. My last 3 springers had intact tails.

How does a dog having a tail at it's natural length make it look ugly and why does that even come into equation when considering tail docking.
