Why not use hoppes number 9 as step 1 then oil with hoppes clear lub oil? You show the bottle of number 9 in video yet failed to use it.
Regarding the last step, oiling, should that oil coating be removed before the next time out shooting? This question pertains more to rifles than shotguns. Thanks.

what do you du about all the dirty powder & crud after you run the snake thru the barrel? are you using a different snake to lube?
Yeah my thoughts too. I usually use some patches with oil on them run them through after the snake so I don't have to get oil all over the snake.
How do you clean a bore snake after you use it?

Noooooo when you take out the choke the barrel magically welds itself shut
The brass brushs could damage the threads, so it's not a wise idea. I just take a patch after and clean the threads by hand.
