    How to make super easy miniature bowls from polymer clay for your dolls or miniature baking scenes using marbles and metal ball tools. You can make them in any colour or size you want! My tools have a silicone type coating which did not melt during baking, but if you're worried about yours because you're not sure what they are made of, simply use marbles. I only baked the bowls for 10 minutes at 110ºC and the handles did not melt or soften.
    This is one way to make bowls, but you can also shape a piece of polymer clay, bake it and make a mold out of silicone mold putty. You can also make a mold from one of the bowls made with a ball tool or marble. I don't recommend using the marble or ball tool directly to make a mold, because you wouldn't get a flat base.

      @MaiveFerrando  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! You'll have to raise that end of the ball tool like if your tray has a raised rim you can rest the ball tool on it making the ball stick out, or maybe put it on a plate or bowl, with the "bowl" end sticking out so that it doesn't touch anything. Hope that was clear ^_^

    • @MaiveFerrando

      Because mine is metal I can get it off, don't put yours in the oven if it's plastic..use a glass marble instead :)

    • @Hermesdaughter33
      @Hermesdaughter33 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine are also metal like yours and have a blue type of plastic for better gripping in the middle, just like yours. I'm wondering if maybe it's just the type of clay that I use, Sculpey. It's really soft and when I go to pull it off of the metal ball, it messes up by stretching out no matter how easy I try to be when pulling it off.

    Why my clay get sticky with mat..when I try to roll it😞😞

      Try to use a wipe on it first or to clean it well. Don't leave it too wet though, or it will stick/melt into it. Also talc can help, but I find clay doesn't combine or attach well to other clay when using it.
      I hope I helped 🙂

    Hello, do you put your tools ball in the oven with the bowl ?

    • @Ivyrose4
      @Ivyrose4 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. You would need to, in order for the bowl to keep its shape.

    What I tried didn't work, but what I'm doing is I used a silicon mold made by modge pod. I made chips and dip! 😸

      Ohhh I've never heard of using modge pod to make a mold, would love to see how you did that.

    The good think is I have lots of marbles, but no ball tool. I can use the marbles, but the ball tool is easier.
