I know that in the series they changed the scene to make it more dramatic and it worked, but the one in the comic obviously gives it a more morbid comedy tone that honestly doesn't bother me at all and I think it works for what they want to do XD

He would have only made the situation worse or faster by ripping the plane in half. This fits his backstory better as a test subject who was never really raised. I think it actually adds more depth to his character. It makes him more interesting.

When HL saw those pics he snapped and became a monster since he thought he did what Noir did but just couldn't remember it. Meanwhile in the show he tried to be good at the start too but the trauma from his childhood AND what happened in The Boys Diabolical just affected him too much
