Those displays were everything too. You could have so many decorative cut stones. And transforming small gems into giant ones is so cool.

"Evolving" your plants works differently in sims 3 than in the sims 4 When you plant something and harvest it, its normal quality. But if you plant your normal quality harvest, when it grows and you harvest that, its nice quality

Love that you’re playing sims again! Btw the highlights around the sims relationship tab, is supernatural sims. Example: A Werewolf's box color is brownish red, a fairy's box color is green, a vampire's box color is red, and a witch's box color is yellow.

Personally, I love the sims 3 much more than the sims 4 (call it nostalgia, idk?) But the sims 3 was MASSIVE meaning that it was much more prone to crashes and glitches. The sims 4 is less prone to crashes and glitches, at the expense of the depth of gameplay that the sims 3 has. I'm not sure if modern computers can handle the sims 3 better now? Theoretically, yes, you can play all/multiple expansion packs at once, and a lot of people did/do, but physically, a lot of computers again just couldn't handle that much content at once, so it really depends on the PC you want to play on.

@@braydenh.2678 No worries at all, it's a subject that I have an embarrassingly huge amount of knowledge on, lol. If you can run the sims 3 without too many issues, I absolutely promise you'll love it, especially if you're more of a gameplay simmer rather than a builder. You might find it hard going from having all expansions in one game to none in the other, but if you ever need pack recommendations for the sims 3 you know where I am 😂
@@LikeaDamnFidelle I like building quite a bit but where most people have like a title for themselves like a builder, storyteller, or maybe they just like to make sims in cas. i kinda like to do it all tbh. however the most fun for me is when i make the stories, playing as the ppl i made in the world i created. so more gameplay would make it a lot more fun. also, about those pack recommendations.... please feel free to share 😂
@@braydenh.2678 I mean, pack recs really depend on the kinds of game you like to play, I used to love supernaturals but that's totally not everybody's thing and I get that. I think seasons is probably one of the first ones you want (bad cas tho aha), as well as generations if you tend to play with families. My favourite world was always the one from pets, but I can't remember actually using the gameplay loads, though it's probably worth noting that you control the pets in sims 3. I always loved island paradise too, but I know not everyone would agree with me on that. Those are just my old favourites off the top of my head, but I had all the expansions if you have questions about specific packs or what's good for certain types of gameplay. I think generally people consider seasons and generations to be universal must haves, they're everyone's favourites 😂
I need someone to link those pigtails ASAP EDIT: found them ^w^ also!!! I play with my resolution on 1366 x 768 (I think. That might be my Sims 2 resolution lol) and it's the same ratio as 1920 x 1080 but the ui is bigger and I've never had any issues with it ^w^

I loved collecting gems and metals or meteorites in sims 3. The open world really made exploring fun.
