Really appreciate you talking about your experiences with being neurodivergent at school! Been wanting to get tested for adhd & autism soon, and I relate so much to the experience of looking back and wondering what could have been if I'd known what was going on back then. You're doing amazing and I love your videos & streams! :)
when jessie mentioned that pronouncing everything with a "sh" instead of a "s" sound reminded them of the grinch, i can't not think of the grinch going "shlaayy.." LMAOOO
1:36:19 reminds me of fight/flight/freeze! I get that sometimes when I’m off my meds or PMSing, but less than I used to. I’ve had it happen in a call-and-response situation too, where I’m just suddenly terrified that I’m somehow going to embarrass myself beyond recovery or smth. It feels like being a deer in the headlights. I’ve been improving though. Figuring out mental disorders and how we can live better isn’t easy, but I have faith in us, Plum! We’ve come so far 💛
You talking about issues with water as an autistic person 😩 PREACH QUEEN. Gods, it’s so hard for me to explain to people without sensory problems that my NUMBER ONE struggle with making myself bathe is how I feel moist for. So. Long afterwards. And that feeling makes me want to crawl out of my flesh. Being diagnosed late in life ((I was also)) sure made so much make sense XD
Late as hell but all the talk about being neurodivergent at school hits home, I remember once doodling all over a maths test in just, weeping, frustrated rage, because I couldn't do half of it, and when I got called to see someone about it he was just like 'this is inappropriate'. I was SCREAMING for help in the only way I could express and he did not or could not give a single shit lmao like schools love to say 'you can ask for help' but won't teach a kid how to recognise they need help or even really teach them to see their inadequacies in the system as anything other than laziness

studiously avoiding watching the witcher's new season despite loving the witcher franchise is SUCH a mood, what I don't see simply can't hurt me xo
