Dude I just bought the AKG n400 a week ago for $49 on sale, the updates it got got the call quality great from what I'm told on the other end but it's loud and clear on my end, and the sound is incredible, these sound equal if not better than my liberty 3 pros and Sony xm4 earbuds!
Also, keep in mind folks, there is now an ANC (AKG N400 NC) for better phone call quality with noise cancelling, or there must be different ones because he says these don't have nc for calls, but there are other videos where they discuss n400s with nc for calls.
Tell me. Where did you get the N400 from as i cannot find them in Europe! Are they available from the time you uploaded your review? You convinced me but when I went to three stores in Europe no one had them! As I am an Apple user, these AKG N400 would be ideal at 50 dollars! Keep those videos coming my man!
You gotta use the same song segments when comparing. The akgs treble honestly sound thin and brittle compared to the warm ish slightly hollow sound from the Samsung. The Samsung had a better timbre based on your tests, AKG weren't cohesive, treble was boosted along with the low end. Didn't sound like the harman target at all.

i saw some people talk about akg n400 having some latency issues when watching videos, did you run into issues like that? how is it compared to the galaxy buds?

Who's this "they" and "people" you're talking about? I enjoy an extreme tight fit. I hate constantly needing to adjust and question if my buds are in properly.
I'm tempted to try the AKGs. I had 3 pair of the Galaxy Buds plus and after 3 weeks of use, one of the Airbuds either went completely out or the volume was so low (at Max volume) you could barely hear the bud.
maybe the sound thing was a software issue. I own the galaxy buds pro but am using them with an S21 ultra and the only complaint I have is they can fall out if I get too sweaty (usually stay in)

The one question I have is that the Galaxy Buds Plus are just above mid range cost at $170 CAD in 🇨🇦 and the NKG’s are in the premium range at $259 CAD. You say the NKG’s have better sound and better build but are the worth an extra $90 better? Looking forward to hearing your response. It's kinda hard to take this too seriously with the awful mic quality this was recorded with, lol. But I do understand that not everybody can afford $2,500 studio microphones. Although you can get a decent (better than this by far) mic for cheap.

I just got mine today, they do good! They don't fall out either with more ear tip options.

I'm here because the akg wired that came with my s20 sounds great and sounds the best on my steam deck over any headphones and that's saying a lot

Try ebay i got mine on there with customs fees i paid just under £100 and they arrived in about 10 days

If I this keeps happening with your galaxy buds, just use a needle to get into the speaker grill or use the needle to press one of the reset buttons

You can use the right one if the left is in the case, not the other way around

I tried the AKG's didn't like, the comfort of them, the ANC was slight and they were just too big returned the next day.
I suspect that I will have the same issue, since my ears are small. 😢

Only the right can operate on its own, but it does convert the audio to mono. The left can’t operate on its ownn
