Considering you have Create, if you were to make trains, you could use seats to transport mobs back to your base, granted, it would take lots of work to set up track but it would make for better journeys if you find animals far away from base.
That would be perfect, to be honest!
Word to the wise, they changed Water Wheels in the newer updates for Create, it now gives the same amount of stress regardless of how much water is involved. Fantastic video as usual

Some advice for later videos involving Create: If you need to power a machine quickly, you don't need to create a small water wheel setup. You can just use the hand crank to power machines like the press and the mixer, although it has a very limited amount of SU's and consumes a lot of hunger, so it is not advised to use it long term.

Think about just building a windmill bearing and a few sawblades that spin. If you manually plant a few trees its much better then the woodcutters as you need wood early.
Besides using a drill and a cobble generator you can make cooble --> gravel or sand --> Glass/Iron nuggets/flint etc
With lava and dripstones you can farm lava to make a andesite farm by dripping the lava into a tank.
You could’ve also used a hand crank! Also the water wheel being having more power the more water was covering it is now no more

I love the ominous woods biome, it's my go to place when I'm running a villainous playthrough.
10:16 this technique doesn't work anymore since 0.5.1 released. Water wheels now always rotate at one speed and produce a certain amount of SU, no matter how many sides you covered with water. For regular water wheel its 8 RPM and 256 SU, for large one - 4 RPM and 512 SU
Just a tip, A good way to generate power early on at decent speeds is to connect a bunch of large water wheels to a single small one, the large water wheels have a higher stress capacity and the small one has a higher speed, and in create the rotational speed will always be what the faster wheel is generating, that way you get tons of stress capacity to increase the speed with gears with if you need

You can use the press with the crank. It’s more efficient if you power it
Well, since it is always such a hassle to "migrate" animals and/or villagers, (And because i got TOTALLY sick of doing all the work to lure them to my home only for them to randomly die because of some stupid suicide-like move they pull about 5 seconds before we arrive) i got myself a mod named "Portable Mobs" where you can craft one of two "Capture Cells" to capture and release mobs.
The "Basic Capture Cell" is a single use and breaks after releasing the mob, and the "Master Capture Cell" and has infinite uses, but is harder to craft.
i loved watching the house get built because the frames made it look more realistic lol

also blast furnace:
*casually melts tungsten (which melts at 3400 degrees/ 6100 Fahrenheit) and doesn't have a meltdown*

There is a modpack called "Life in the Village 3" it's probably the closest we will get as it contains Minecolines and Create!

He said it was most similar to the one that mrbreadstone used, that is another TH-camr. However, if you do get a mod pack from forge I recommend one like life in the village 3, since it adds tectonic, which helps make the flat parts of the world flatter, which makes it much easier to build colonies on. It also has create and addons to it
