Homemade crawfish trap! Like the crayster trap//Works great, and catches those tasty little mudbugs!

This is my homemade crawfish trap. I have used it several times to catch many a crawfish.

Bait box: I use 1 inch by 1/2 inch wire cloth material. I cut the top and bottom pieces 4 x 5 inches and the sides are 2 x 5 inches. And the two ends are 2 x 4 inch pieces. Use the rabbit j clips to put together. But one of the end only has the cips on one side so it has a door to put in bait.

Ive been able to piece the dimensions of everything aside from the bait box ...
hopefully your still updating this ... but how big is it and how do you have it set to open,
