That is really a great looking yacht. What a beauty!
I prefer the IPS system. Yes, it might be a bit slower than the surface drives but it opens up owning a Pershing to new customers. I once saw a pershing (with surface drives) in the 60 feet range piloted by a private owner and his friends. And even though he was decently skilled, you could feel the tension on board trying to dock the yacht.

Beautiful, but consumption at 180l/h is too big compared to the bigger Pershing 62 with 200l/h
didn't like the IPS system on a Pershing. What was supposed to give the thrill of navegating on a pershing now becomes just any boat.

Buy either the impending Pershing 6x for 50 knots or literally any other sports cruiser at this size.

I thought all Pershings are capable of a minimum of 40 knots??
He said at the end that you can also have CAT shaft drive with 2 x 1000 HP.
The rest of the range are Arneson surface drives.

Can you imagine the disappointment on your guests faces when they finally climb aboard your Pershing only to discover you have POD drives. Not for me.....a Pershing should always have Surface Drives. The prop spray or rooster tail is part of the entertainment and DNA of a Pershing.

Pershings have Arneson surface drives not traditional direct shafts.
