They are so in love with that sloped windshield that they have to rig up sun shields on their pivot down monitors. Personally I believe that form should follow function. It's a Yacht, not an airplane give it a vertical or only slightly raked windshield.
I ran a 9-X and was not impressed. The owners and pay were great but I left because of the boat. It's a one trick pony and it's range is crap and they handle weather like crap. Funny thing is I recently talked to the owner and they had sold it for the same reasons I left. I'm actually helping them find a new yacht and most likely will go back after my contract expires because they were great to work for.
Those engines are thirsty, but that is the cost of a very high speed cruising specification. Maybe a lower speed configuration would be better to get a reasonable cruising range. As for the purchase price: wait a year and pick a good used example for way less the new - let someone else take the hit of initial purchase (prices will always go down).
This is not a car, even if you manage to find a 1 year old x9, you will find out the price might even be higher then what it was bought for, this due to the fact there is no waiting time to get the boat. And if you watch the video you would have found out that optimal cost/speed/range range is 17mph with a consumption that is very affordable for a boat of this size. But people actually buying this boat is not interested in that speed. Seems you should look at some cheaper more mass production yacht, if you're looking for a boat with lesser 2nd hand value and lower speed, there are loads of Sunseekers on the 2nd hand market that looks fast and actually is cheaper buying used after a short while. Best of luck finding your yacht if you havent bought it yet.
The Pershing 9X is a high quality yacht with great features and it appears to be easy to operate. It appears a full time crew is not needed to maintain this yacht. The only feature missing is a canopy on the upper deck. What is the cost for such a high quality machine such as this.
was it just me or was the boat rocking a lot? Guess stabilisation isn't amazing on pershing ... on a side note, great video. Really enjoy your presentation of the product!!!
If i Pershing would incorporate the stairs for the Fly Sport from the Pershing 8X onto the 9X,. There would be no logical reason not to order one........ immediately. And spend the rest of the decade cruising the Antillies and northern coast of South America up Central America to Mexico. Who is the presenter, even though it is dubbed in English his flair and knowledge comes across.
20 ltrs or 4.5 gallons per 1nm at 25kts id like to see Maurizio top up the 9000ltr fuel tanks after the test, bet he's not smiling then lol! anyways - English at last thank you ~ was about to unsubscribe ... Pershing always make modern cutting edge beautiful fast desirable yachts and at €7000000 its surprisingly affordable at this end of the 30mtr market (of course the tax mans 20% VAT still waiting to be paid at €1400000 before it hits the water) again a very nice in-depth review video as always, the best even,
I ran one of these for a while and left because of the boat. It has a range of 400 nautical miles at cruise and while fast it's limited to what she can do. Funny thing is they sold the boat right after I left because of it's range limitations. It's not easy to get fuel for a boat this size and while the family I worked for had no problem filling the tanks they were really limited as to where they could do so.
I wonder how fast it'd go in calm waters cold weather (turbo diesels thrive on cold dense air) with all unnecessary weight removed so water, food furniture etc and say 1/2 a tank of fuel.. This is really fast for a big boat. But massive cruise liners 100x bigger than this used to go 58-70mph average speed as they traversed the atlantic to win that award nations use to vye for winning in the early 1900's through the 1960's before mainstream commercial aviation. These boats usually made like 260,000hp and were massive steam powered.. This is all the speed you'd ever want though I suppose.. every inch is Beautiful!
I hear you, but this yacht is all about performance, so it needs that amount of focus to explain it well. It's definitely not designed to maximize luxury or living space, but to rip through the water in style.
I love the presenter, especially at the end when he walks off and slams the cabin door behind him. :-)
Best presenter around for boats, I don’t mind the Italian with English dubbing. I want one..9x
His joy and enthusiasm are evident. Love watching and listening to him.
I use these videos to learn Italian while I’m seeing great boats.
He is the best and uses a proper camera crew rather than some clown with a gopro.
U might love pershing 140 or riva 88 folgore
40 knots plus from a 28 meter is crazy fast.
Puzzoozoo woahhhhhhh
Useful mix of mechanical and handling information, interior fit and finish and energetic presentation that is natural for his gentleman.
He is the worst reviewer out there! Disaster

Owners dont sell them and they will keep a high price. Its a good investment if you keep it maintained.

Luxury yachts prices dont drop like cars, which roll out of assembly yards. Just check online, a 3 yr olf Pershing9X still sells for above $8million
i want a pershing build with 360 degree camera
Italian Guy You Are Magnifico!!!!!!!!
Pershing as always perfect
That yacht is so amazing!
Wish they would spend more time on the features of the boat instead of leaving it till the end.
Why am i watching this when no way i can afford this. :))
Wow what a boat 😀 and finnally English!
Why does it have ZF throttle levers if it doesn’t have the ZF surface drives
The steering wheel looked like it was positioned to far away and low down. Awkward.
Fantastic looking boat
Perdón mi ignorancia, se podría viajar de Europa hacia Estados Unidos en este yate?
How much does this yacht cost? What is the annual operating cost? How many crews members are required for this yacht?
close to $800,000 per year

It was stated at the end of the video seven to eight million euro.
Great JOb To ALL Involved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
whats the different from surface drive and interceptors?

Are you piloting this boat yourself? Single pilot?
Love all the videos. And love the Italian language lessons. Keeps me sharp.
Nice .very nice .but not for poor poeple like me.
What is the grey yacht on the left next to the Pershing
a Pershing 62 maybe ;)
Can you test a marquis? :)
EVERY formula one driver dreams of being world champion, not driving for Ferrari.
Tell that to an italian.
€45.000 di benzina per portarla da Fano a Cannes one way. Bruciamoli i soldi
