When they sang T.O.P. after Jessica's departure, they still sang it mentioning "The 9 warriors". Iconic.
Yes they did and I appreciated that. Also what I loved even more was that Sunny covered her lines.

I think Stay Girls is almost a direct response to one of the question they got most often in interviews which is "You're Girls Generation, but you won't be girls forever", they're basically responding with "yeah we will! we'll grow up but we'll keep the spirit of those young girls that formed Girls Generation"

"As expected" SNSD without fail sound great, look great and are truly joyful when performing live in concert. What's notable to me about T.O.P. is not the fabulous 'girl-power/girl crush' vibe ( because there are other songs of that genre in there discography) but because it's explicitly a song of 'self-praise'--- which is something that Koreans as whole are extremely hesitant to publicly express ( watch ANY interview with SNSD, or anyone else for that matter, and when pressed to speak of their own talents etc. the response is almost always an embarrassed laugh and the reticent expression "should i say this with my own mouth?" )
T.O.P. is an unapologetic claim to being 'The Best'. Relative to Korean social norms such a claim expresses 'undesirable' arrogance instead of 'desirable' humility, but of course in SNSD's case, it's NOT arrogance, it's just FACT.
Diana Ankudinova is a young performer who shocks us with her pleasant voice and takes us into the abyss of events!!! Diana Ankudinova is unique and inimitable, goosebumps from her voice!=)))) Diana sings as if she lives in the song! The soul freezes or opens with Diana's voice.=))))))) I am a musician who has been with music for years, and believe me, I have not heard such a tone in all these past years.

I'm just so happy to know that through these 3 videos, SNSD was able to show their three different sides to you. Encouraging everyone in the first two videos but in a cute and bad bitch energy way plus showing their soft side to us. Idk. Everything that SNSD do is just so ✨immaculate✨
stay girls was such a statement actually. "sonyeo shidae" obviously means "girls' generation", but the word "sonyeo" in korean means a very specific kind of "girl" in terms of age, it refers to a very young girl, a teenager. snsd were 16-18 when they debuted so they used to fit in this description, but people always told them how they "can't be snsd forever" because at some point they'd be too "old" for their group's name. the girls always made a point of insisting that they'll always be snsd because regardless of how much they grow up they don't intend to lose the pure and innocent spirit of the teenagers they used to be.
Honestly, I'm expecting you to react on 'Way to go' together with 'Flyers' but I'm thankful for this. Please react to 'Way to go' live version with 'Forever' and 'Not alone'.

Yeah... I read a theory somewhere that both SNSD and EXO made a demo of the song but they kept Hyo's part on Sehun's rap
I'm YoonA biased and Sunny but I love all the girls. Sooyoung's singing parts in "Stay Girls" is just perfect and loved her small high note in the prechorus. I love that she sings a lot more in their Japanese songs and wished SM trained her with vocals more because you can tell that she loves to sing. Hyoyeon and Yuri also have a nice tone to their voices, so imagine if all of dance line were also trained vocally and we had 9 strong vocalists!
SNSD also have a concert version of Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You, you definitely need to watch that!!! ++ Do The Catwalk is a god-tier Japanese track b-side bop !!!

I love SNSD live concert SO MUCH, their power, their interaction with sones, thier energy, everything just beautiful, and their japan songs never disappointed
Sunny has a lot of duet singles, one of them was ost with taeyeon, they performed it on taeyeon's radio once, the only performance but unfortunately they're not on their best condition, you could see both of them coughing throughout the song they still slayed the song tho, it just you could see them coughing
The other live version of Stay girls is better because you can hear Taeyeon's beautiful adlib on the last chorus but in this live you can't hear it.

Kind of a bummer it was this performance though, theres another one that showcases the high notes at the end better, we really didnt get it hear it much. Flyers is pure heaven on earth and the gor-jess bridge combined with Tiffany's powerful vocal. along with that bombastic snare roll, it's so perfect, I have to always crank it up to "11". Any excuse to hear more of Sunny is great by me too! Stay Girls is another classic from their 2nd Japanese album, Girls & Peace and was featured on the encore for the 2nd Japanese Tour. It's one of those songs Sones get a bit emotional over.

As a SONE, there will be no moment that you won’t feel proud of these girls. Imagine, from a very young age you became the game changer of the industry. Who would have thought that a girl group can beat boy groups during those days? Who would have thought that after their debut there will be hundreds of girl group that will going to debut? Talent wise, SNSD have it. Personality wise, SNSD also have it. Impact? They did it. SNSD is truly a legend and will always be the number 1 girl group in my heart.
