taeyeon went crazyyyy with her dancing here. so energetic and had some of the most accurate moves. looked like she was in the dance line fr, always so amazing at concerts

A FULL CONCERT FOR FREE???!???? You're literally the best soshi reactor that's active at the moment. One thing missing is a GG Variety Show (Running Man, Knowing Bros, Happy Together, Horror Factory...) and consider yourself undefeatable if ever
Im gonna do a marathon of GG's variety show again. Miss the good old days.
Ohmygod!!! I was literally rewatching this concert last night because Seventeen had a concert and Taeyeon attended and that made me miss Soshi concerts ㅠㅠㅠㅠ.
I think we can all agree that the 1st Japan tour is their best one ever. Amazing setlist, stage settings, outfits, and the most iconic concert opening ever. And Taeyeon's energy was just different she was definitely going wild throughout the whole concert.
I think most sones agree that the 1st Japan tour was their best so if I'm gonna rank them personally:

The favourite list basically same with me, Tokyo Dome will be my Favourite IF ONLY Jess in it, it will be perfect

You're correct sir Austin, Naengmyeon or cold noodles is Jessica solo music. They decided to add it to their concerts because it is a hype song, and it is also a hit song in their country.

Soshi is too iconic. The stage presence of the whole group is out of the world. It’s hard to find this kind of presence now without using over the top facial expressions and attitude.

Half if not all of the songs were lipsynched. Y'all are either deaf or delusional and in denial af. Not saying they can't sing live but they do lipsynch when dancing so they won't run out of breath and die.
At that time, SNSD was a phenomenon for Japan, probably the idol of kpop with the best discography

I used to play the concerts in college while grinding through homework or studying, and I would still rewatch any of the concerts in a heartbeat!

I was vibing so insanely even just with the FIRST song, and it actually made me feel so sad that I've been such a recent Kpop fan, cuz this concert HAD ENERGY and that honestly so often doesn't translate to the recorded video. But they all just SLAYED.

Best ENTRANCE for a KPOP concert!! This genie version and the lifting was even used for SMTOWN concerts back then (without the diamond though). I’ve rewatched this one last week because I happen to have bought the LIMITED EDITION bluray version of this concert. Preloved but with complete inclusion and at a very affordable price!

Yesss their first concert and this concert is unbeatable for me and their energy is the best back then but all of their concert is amazing regardless.
actually this first japan tour = second tour in Seoul. for Seoul concert there's special performance from each members. so i hope for next reaction you can watch soshi solo performance on second tour ^^

You heard that version of Genie when you reacted to SNSD live in Madison Square Garden. They used this exact version of the song, but to korean lyrics in that, with Tiffany's rapping (and screaming that iconic "Madison Square Garden, put it back on".
The whole "Black swan" in that VCR (1:04:40) and Run Devil Run are using a sample from the Swan Theme, in one of the main scenes in the Swan Lake ballet. Also they changed their choreography in that part of the Run Devil Run performance to the T.O.P (Tinkling of Paradise) choreo, a song by Shinhwa, an OG SM group. And that song also samples that same part of Black Swan (and SNSD actually covered it back in 2008 and also during The Boys era, both performances are worth checking out!). The original song, by Shinhwa, has some problematic lyrics to it but they changed it later on and SNSD adapted it when they covered it.
So glad you finally got to listen to Born to Be a Lady and Let It Rain! They're two of my favourite SNSD ballads!

The VCR intro before Run Devil Run is Black Swan, with Swan Lake theme song. That's transition of good girl gone bad. Taeyeon sings Devil's Cry to called badass inside them. And Run Devil Run on this stage is Mash up version with Swan Lake.

Its 2am in my country but I had to watch it. So fun!! This is my favorite concert ever, I was already a sone at that time and just by watching fancams I loved it. Like you said, Tokyo was blessed that evening haha. Thank you! Now I’m even more excited about SNSD comeback 💜
Anyway, for recommendation I guess you can react to Girls & Peace World tour and Tokyo Dome because those two are iconic too, especially Tokyo Dome (is quite emotional though). I do have to say that I have a special place in my heart for the first japan tour because they just seem to be having the time of their life here so that’s always great to watch. But all of their concerts have great stages, great dancing, fun moments and full energy and GREAT VOCALS.

Out of all the concerts I've been to for them, this one is still my favorite but maybe because it was my first concert. My mom died the year before and I became a fan after about 8 months later. I took a chance and went with 100 others to see them do this concert in South Korea. I was mesmerized. I cried during a particular part and the sones around me were extremely comforting. I had this album on rotate for a long time.
This version's Tell Me Your Wish performance is almost the same with the one in the Madison Square Garden
Sir Austin, you might already know this, but just in case you haven't heard of it, I recommended a documentary called Boom the Kpop if you really want to know how huge SNSD was in Japan. It followed the first time they debuted in Japan stage way back in 2010 up to after their first Japanese Tour in 2011.
They were really an extraordinary group. Still is.
Back then Yoona, Yuri, Syoung and Taeng were called the 4 heavenly queens, since they were the most popular members in Japan.
The documentary went through polling in the streets, shops and everything to look into and prove SNSD's supremacy. It really was golden era of Kpop.
What? Jessica Tae Yoona were the most popular by surveys in Japan. Jessica even has a nickname in Japan.
People always assume it is Sooyoung just bcos she can speak Japanese but no figures can support this claim.

Edit : I think their RDR intro here is mix song from Shinhwa called T.O.P its SM 1st gen group, they also cover the dance, it at the end as transition to 'Beautiful Stranger'
Edit II : cmiiw 'My Child' song even have part where there's bunch of child singing, I think its in the last part?, but its not real child turn out its SNSD who sing it, with child voice lmao they share this story at one of interview, its so funny, and the song indeed sound like coming from Disney Channel or something 🤣

Hello, thank you very much. I enjoyed re-watching this concert. This is indeed the DVD/BluRay version. It was the CD version that included all the solo performances. This was their 2nd concert and weeks after this they started their World Tour. I like the 2nd and 3rd Japan tours. The Girls and Peace if I'm not wrong is like 2nd/3rd Japan tours but for different countries so they are similar. Then their dream Tokyo Dome and finally the Phantasia.
fun fact! Demi Lovato's "Mistake" is a remake of SNSD "Born to Be a Lady"
Into the new world, 3rd and 4th gen idols gg have to know this choreo.
