Thank you for bringing up a fact barely anyone registers…the Turtles also helped turn Baxter to crime by leaving him for the police despite not really doing anything illegal (he didn’t know who Shredder was, he just thought he finally had a buyer) yet they left him tied up and stole his things. Poor Baxter probably thought was better off with Shredder since he knew about the Turtles too until he realized too little too late what fate had in store for him.
This was always my favorite version of Baxter because of his tragic story, and he's the only relatable villain i remember from the cartoon. Most of the villains were evil because they could, but Baxter wanted to be an honest man and was stepped on again and again. And what it made worse is that the Turtles, the heroes of the show, played a major role in his downfall by stealing his stuff and probably being the reason he was sent into asylum. Back then while watching "Revenge of the Fly" i really hoped that the Turtles at least let him use the muta-zoo ray gun to turn him back into human. It's just a thought from my younger self, but maybe it could've helped him to stabilize his mind again and redeem himself, because it was Baxter's only wish.
I've just discovered your channel and really enjoyed this video. I was born in 1981 so when the cartoon came out I was around 6yrs old. I was the target demograph. I had all the toys, comics, and episodes on VHS. It's so nice to get a refresher on lore and hopefully discover something new. Subscribed.
Another great in depth character vid! Always liked him turning into a fly and the ep when it happened. Looking forward to vids on other characters(even if it’s not much on them like: Antrax, The Uncanny Trip(especially Nocturno the owl), Sgt.Bananas/Guerrilla Gorilla, Ray Fillet
I thought he had died being eaten alive. And it was very dark for the producers to have done so. His story was one of the most insteresting ones in the series. And, though I didn´t love the character, the figure was one of the coolest ones.
In the Archie comics, this Baxter never turned into a fly, and made a one panel cameo in later issue as a human. In the IDW comic, one character looks like 1987 Baxter Stockman.
I imagine a variant of DR.BAXTER STOCKMAN, who got mutated into a Dragonfly guy, and his former human self is a half Italian/& half English scientist. I also imagine that variant BAXTER, has a mean cousin, whose name is BETHANY BLUE, and she’s an evil scientist. Plus to add I imagine that later, BETHANY gets mutated, and she turned into a Salamander-lady. I imagine the one responsible for her, getting exposed to mutagen substance, is because Baxter purposely, broke a container next to her. In addition I imagine at the same time, Bethany’s pet salamander got loose, and was moving close to her, while she was in a puddle of the substance glowing.
@@TheTurtleNexus well if I remember there was one episode from TMNT Fast Forward where there was a Triceraton who was a police guard, which means that Bishop and PGA (Pan Galactic Alliance) have made peace with The Triceratons
@@elijahbrown8250read the title of THIS video, it clearly states 1987. Theres two other videos on the channel the 2003 version and 2012 version of this character.

Yeah, sometimes I feel sorry for him. Not gonna lie.

Inspired by Doc Brown, friend of Marty McFLY?! Coincidence?
Good one
I know is from a different show but love the gag.... "IT'S DEXTER STINKMAN!"
I thought it was Baxter Speckman!
White Baxter was modeled after Doc Brown? Didn't know that.
I always thought Baxter being disintegrated was too extreme.
You kept my favorite clips, thanks a lot! 🤩
Also: "I can't believe it! This is too bizarre, even for a cartoon!" 😨 - Raphael
😅
15:25 obviously Z managed to send signals that periodically let Stockman out, in hopes that he will somehow manage to revive Z
Great video. I always loved the fly episodes
I remember this - it scared the crap out of me as a kid
Thanks for the amazing video

Didn’t you guys already do this video on 1987’s Blister Stockboy?
@@javierandrade3230 no, maybe you saw the 2003 and 2012 videos, three versions of the character
There was a video. This is an update with a better narration, and some new information.
He is also the first boss of Turtles IV. Also known as Turtles In Time.

Baxter Stockman: REVENGE!
I wish that eventually Baxter would’ve become human again and finally an ally.

Goldblum would be proud..
Special Camaro by his brother, Barney Stockman!

36 years later, I’m hopeful that he can become human again.
Have you done a video of The Triceratons from TMNT 2003 series?
Not yet.

Quick question about something I just remembered: Are you going to do a video about the Chameleon, who's a spy mutated into a mutant chameleon?
He's on the list. But it's a very long list.
Omg
I like Superfly better
First and I am pretty sure you have already done a video on this guy
That's the 2003 version of the character, this is the 1987 version
…..different version
@thepoeticbutcher3370 No, he has already done a video on the 1987 version.
