Wow, thank you for reviewing my mod! I'm glad you enjoy it lol, I would've never expected it to become this popular when I first started making it. I've never made a graphical mod before, so it's quite fun overcoming the challenges along the way (albeit frustrating at times). The devs did announce recently they're upgrading the rendering pipeline to Unity's URP, which will undoubtedly break the mod until I fix it, but it definitely means the vanilla game will get much-needed graphical improvements (hopefully!!). I'll let you in on a little secret: the torpedo wakes are a complete accidental feature, but I'm glad they just work and look decent. Apparently explosions like nukes also leave foam, which is pretty neat. The mod was close to releasing without the wakes, but I quickly cobbled something together in a day because the water just didn't feel right without them. As such I want to release an improved version of them down the line. But vegetation is priority right now! And bug fixes of course.
It's a fantastic mod, and some jolly good work by the modder. Torpedoes have never looked so pretty before. Oh by the way in case you missed it: nukes detonating on the surface make a massive wake. (I kind of wish that getting ammo racked produced a miniature of that nuke particle effect but oh well)
Installed the mod and the color of the water doesn't look like this. It became darker. Also adventure mode shows what seems to be terrain on the horizon, which shouldn't be the case because it should all be water.
The devs should hire the creator of this mod, and officially implement it in game.
like they did with... like... most of the best mods I've seen. It's not like that's a new move for them to pull, right?
This mod will finally make space battles not look goofy

@@ThunderPanzer You're welcome! Looking forward to future updates, and hopefully updates don't break anything. XD
seeing land for the first time ever
"LAND AHOY!" 👉🏝
This is a gem like the one metal retexture mod. One hopes they can be vanilla eventually, or that they'll work for a long time to come.
I always hoped the devs would make the game like this.

So my RTX 4090 should be fine.
Those torpedo wakes are a nice touch though.
This mod is worth it for the torpedo wakes alone! 😊
WE FINALLY HAVE WAKES WOOOO
Now to quintuple the map size so I can’t see from one end of it to the other…
finally i'll be able to see the enemy light cruiser in a 10km gunnery duel i set up😂
Well, consider my interest piqued. This is beautiful.
Here's hoping for a kinetic spalling mod.
Thank you for showing this mod in the last video. I have it installed since
New Borderwise video! Love the stuff, thank you sir!!!
@@The7thKaiser Cheers, glad to hear it! 😁
This mod makes this a flat earth, lol. I love the wakes though
should i expect this to be vanilla in about 2 years?
@@cryo2934 I don't know... We can hope, though!
Nick! Hire this mod creator!

The mod does have bugs. Check on the mod page if you haven't already, the author is keen to know any issues that people are having.
If I don't see this in the next update on steam. I'm gonna be a little dissapointed
I think the devs are busy with their second, non-FtD game? Not sure when we'll see something like this in an update.
