Just to clarify, the contract they make with an administrator isn't to limit people, but to allow them to use shinsu. Normal people cannot use shinsu without a contract with a floor administrator. Only people who can do that are irregulars and without limit so for Baam, the contract wasn't going to benefit him, but instead limit him. That's why the administrator said "To you it's a shackle".

What they did wrong though is. The test supervisor (coffee guy). Reason he was shrunk was because rak ran into him when he just woke up and had his hair down. His hair wasn’t done in anyway.
John Porter yeah that sure never happened in the story. He just shrunk rak for running into him and after rak throwing a fit and calling him small. True. Especially since they just climbed the tower, so they're much weaker than those on the upper levels who might target them for being the accomplice of an irregular.
I was a little disappointed with how the "irregular discussion" turned out. I understand that they made the changes to cut down on the length of the scene, but at least to me, it loses the significance that it had towards Khun's character, Rak's character, and the relationship between them and Bam.

The anime switches two terminologies up Administrators and Guardians so in the manga it is: 1. Guardians are the "Gods" of each floor like Headon and The Giant fish at the end of this episode who you make a contract with to control Shinso. 2. Administrators are the Rankers who were put there by the Floor master (on floor 2 it is Evankhell) who were chosen by the current Regime. The thing is Zahard and his companions came to the tower and climbed it. At that time there were no Administrators only Guardians test (in the Anime Administrators Test) so they could only take their test but after Zahard climbed the Tower he set up a kingdom and rules with the help of the Guardians so he put on each floor a Ranker and a Floor Master who Adminster Test which are way easier than Guardian Tests. The Test Bam is taking now is a Test given by Guardians like Zahard did in his time.
In the Manwha the term Guardian is only used twice during Season 1 and It is then translated as Administrator for the rest of the story. The anime didn't switch anything up. Just like the Manwha, "Administrator" and "Test Administrator" are two different things. The anime is using the current translations from the beginning.
@@donemu9096 Thanks but to be fair other than season 1 there is maybe 1 part were they are mentioned and the wiki lists them still as guardians only the literal translation is set as Administrator
@@namwonglue Idk I also kinda like that if you're paying attention you can pick up on something that is probably really important but otherwise missable. Feels like the show wants me to put the mystery or the cogs together.
I'll try to summarize the Tower without spoilers, Headon is the Guardian of the entire tower, but each floor of the tower has its own Guardian, it decides if you are worthy of using shinsu on its floor via a contract, they are not affiliated with Jahad they are part of the Tower itself. King Jahad is the strongest regular to climb the tower, and established a kingdom within the tower. The party members who helped Jahad climb were made nobles and established the Great families, Khun's dad being one of them. What makes irregulars like Bam dangerous to the empire is they can use massive amounts of shinsu without making any contracts, becoming nearly unstoppable. There are also factions in the tower that want to tear down Jahad's Kingdom, and might want to manipulate Bam to their advantage.
The soundtrack for this anime is amazing. The reason why they were more shocked about bam being an irregular is because the previous irregulars that entered were overwhelmingly powerful and bam is really weak compared to them. He has potential but he doesnt know anything about the power system. It's supposed to be mentioned and emphasized with Lero ro little talk he had with bam earlier when bam asked about irregulars. If you didnt notice and need a better understanding of the devastation; king Jahad is an irregular.
Shout to Lupa for rockin' the Black Power Ranger Tee. Also I peep the twisties bruh. I was at that point too just a couple years ago, keep growing em. Shit gone be crazy when you lengthy like Roshi lol. The fans can watch the progression
Remember, passing the tests on this floor doesn't let them climb the REST of the Tower, it just let's them proceed to the next floor. The tower is a long way up
yeah irregulars are looked down apon because they normally bring chaos to the tower (some are still cool people though, like Urek Mazino, i have a feeling your gonna like him after this one arc in season 2!)
you are not a traitor but you considered a threat to the king since Irregulars are not bound by the contracts made by Administrators/Guardians.remember what they said in this episode, Jahad became king because the Administrators allowed it and also there is a very special contract in place, dont know if you read the webtoon, and only an Irregular can defy that contrat which allows Jahad to be dominate the Tower
Just a little clarification: Like Shibisu says at one point in this episode, Irregulars are considered as beings that bring chaos to the tower, threatening the the hierarchy of the entire tower, like King Jahad and the Great families. Therefore, irregulars are normally viewed as the "enemy" to the royalty. So being related, or helping them out gives a person bad reputation. Meaning most other humans and beings in the tower would refuse to associate with them.
if i remember correctly he takes the tests as a "regular" but in reality is an "ilregular", i think that was how it was, right? it has been a while since i read that part
The only reason he doesn't mention hes an irregular is because they wouldn't let him take tests and jahad would probably try an kill bam himself since hes the child of Arlene
as stated at anime 1st episode headon says he is an irregular so he takes the administrator test (fight a pregnant eel tht normally appear at floor 20) and now he gonna ask this big whale to take another administrator test in order to help rachel / thts gonna be awesome to see the reaction here the test not hard like 1st floor ;)
Now that I'm watching 12:00 onwards again, I think the Test Administrator can change the rules on a whim, which is why the rule seemed so out of nowhere to both Lero Ro and Khun. Probably was a trap to lure Bam, the Irregular, out.
yeah after the season just read the manhwa cause I don't even understand how they thought people would understand what's going on when most of the hints are left out. Either way, this is pretty good overall
so the 'top' of the tower as we know right now is the kingdom of Jahad, which is mainly where all the ranker are. Even if you reach the 'top', being associated with a irregular will probably make you an outcast from other ranker.
The idea behind "you get to climb the tower quickly but you'll be his accomplices" is less of like "you get to take the easy route" and more of "an Irregular will carry you so hard that you don't even have to try, but you'll be permanently stuck attatched to him."
Rak is an ancient species, the 'NATIVE ONE'. He can control stones in further future. He also can use a spear of the ancient spices without any limitations. This story will come out in the chapter: Yama's cage.
Originally I wanted Rachael to die just to see what they would do to Bam, but now that she is paralyzed I like the way they have linked his Motivation into carrying her up the tower, as before it irritated me that he kept chasing after her even though she abandoned him (which she apologised for in this episode). So ye... this episode is probably my favourite.
A shortcut to the top of the tower may take more than 50 years (which is considered very short for climbing to the top). Jahad wants to stop any threat from getting up the tower, and will do a lot to have them killed
The reason they shocked is there is only 16 or 17 irregular in the history of tower. First irregular was Jahad and all irregulars was so powerfull and bringed chaos to tower.
Oh and I think it was supposed to be mentioned in this episode but there is more in depth explanation of how kuun knew hoh was up to something and how he managed to make a plan for everything.
I would highly recommend reading the webtoon at the same time as watching the show (red up to where the show leaves off) that’s what I do to not miss any info and it really helps. The webtoon has a lot more information on everything
The reason they made bam take the pack with the administrator was to get access to a a shinsu because normally you can't access it unless your an irregular then you dont need a pack
It’s weird to travel with the irregular bc if you have a “system” for climbing the tower if you have an unknown force that can fuck up the system then the regular can think hmmm but for your own self desire to climb it can be acceptable to not conform to tower “rules”
It's a shortcut to get to the 3rd floor and not the top of the tower. If they take the Administrator's test, that test will be the last of the 2nd floor; otherwise, they have to take more tests. On the other hand, once they get higher up the tower, their affiliation with the irregular may hinder their progress.
The problem with being bam accomplish is that if he passes the test then he would be seen as a legitimate threat to king jahad's rule so you would be putting a target on your back by every would be assassin for jahad while also doing the regular test to climb the tower. Just a quick note i have not read the online stuff and i don't have any spoilers to give this is just my thoughts on the episode based on the anime alone.
For people who read the webcomic (potential spoilers) Without spoiling, could you tell me if I'm on the right track? - Are the creatures that the administrator and the spy used to fight, the same (respective) creature that greets people when they first get introduced to Shinsu. And is size indicative of the power of someone (Bam's creature looks massive)
Again without spoiling They all met the same creature it's just that the creature knew bam was a irregular so he told him it was a shackle to him and those creatures are called "administrators" if you didnt knew and each floor got different administrator
The reason why they were suprised about Baam being an Irregular, and why Baam didnt tell them was left out in the anime. But When Baam met Yuri, she told him to keep the fact that he was an irregular secret, because it would put him in danger if he told anyone.
Alright guys, fill us in! What was cut out this week that we need to know? 😂

The cliffhanger gets harder each episode lmao
Wait if only irregulars can negotiate to take the administrators test and Jahad also took it then does that mean he was also an irregular?
Yep
This show was too subtle with its details sometimes.
@@namwonglue Idk I also kinda like that if you're paying attention you can pick up on something that is probably really important but otherwise missable. Feels like the show wants me to put the mystery or the cogs together.
I feel like these episodes go by way too fast, there’s no way they’re 20 mins
Also didn’t expect Bam‘s secret to be out this soon
Hair game on point!
I'll try to summarize the Tower without spoilers,
Headon is the Guardian of the entire tower, but each floor of the tower has its own Guardian, it decides if you are worthy of using shinsu on its floor via a contract, they are not affiliated with Jahad they are part of the Tower itself.
Been waiting for this one! Keep it up 🚀
Shout to Lupa for rockin' the Black Power Ranger Tee.
The tower is a long way up
@Ail 123 so it’s a pretty good chance we will get a season two?
@@Kam_214 well idk bout that it depends on how the anime does
yeah irregulars are looked down apon because they normally bring chaos to the tower (some are still cool people though, like Urek Mazino, i have a feeling your gonna like him after this one arc in season 2!)
yall gonna wanna keep reading after you finish that first part of the webtoon lol
Why everybody hair twisted all up to high heaven lol. Y'all said we all finna get out edges right today.
His horns are golden poops and now I can never unsee that. Dammit!
Bam got that demon/heart of the card action going on.
I'm pretty sure you get branded as a traitor by Jahad if you help an irregular (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
you are not a traitor but you considered a threat to the king since Irregulars are not bound by the contracts made by Administrators/Guardians.remember what they said in this episode, Jahad became king because the Administrators allowed it and also there is a very special contract in place, dont know if you read the webtoon, and only an Irregular can defy that contrat which allows Jahad to be dominate the Tower
Hansung Yu, the big fish in a little pond, the Coffee Turtle.
That man is one of my favorite characters.
Just a little clarification:
Like Shibisu says at one point in this episode, Irregulars are considered as beings that bring chaos to the tower, threatening the the hierarchy of the entire tower, like King Jahad and the Great families. Therefore, irregulars are normally viewed as the "enemy" to the royalty. So being related, or helping them out gives a person bad reputation. Meaning most other humans and beings in the tower would refuse to associate with them.
But if only an irregular can negotiate to take the administrators test and Jahad also took it then doesn't that make him an irregular too?
@@QuantumFishFTW ding ding ding, we have a winner
Only another irregular can challenge the king.
Those patterns on the wall in the room to the administrators test resemble FUG symbop
This is not Spoiler :
At the webtoon they always call bam a regular so the reader know bam is a regular but in the anime they don't show it clearly
if i remember correctly he takes the tests as a "regular" but in reality is an "ilregular", i think that was how it was, right? it has been a while since i read that part
The only reason he doesn't mention hes an irregular is because they wouldn't let him take tests and jahad would probably try an kill bam himself since hes the child of Arlene
@@frozetei8169 dude, spoilers! cover the spoilers up! Please!
as stated at anime 1st episode headon says he is an irregular so he takes the administrator test (fight a pregnant eel tht normally appear at floor 20) and now he gonna ask this big whale to take another administrator test in order to help rachel / thts gonna be awesome to see the reaction here the test not hard like 1st floor ;)
In webtoon people are very often referred with their position like regular bam or regular khun or ranker Lero ro
Y'all are gonna enjoy the webtoon. The anime changed up so many plot points as well as panels of comedy/personality building of characters.
lmao my dude lupa said its gonna be a desk with papers XD
Damn ya'll hit the whole group hair level up
Accomplice to an irregular = wanting ALL the smoke
Now that I'm watching 12:00 onwards again, I think the Test Administrator can change the rules on a whim, which is why the rule seemed so out of nowhere to both Lero Ro and Khun. Probably was a trap to lure Bam, the Irregular, out.
The FLOOR Administrators and the TEST Administrators are different!!
“How long is he gonna stay like that?”
Lmao say goodbye to big Rak cause he ain’t never coming back
yeah after the season just read the manhwa cause I don't even understand how they thought people would understand what's going on when most of the hints are left out. Either way, this is pretty good overall
Well, you're right.
But you're also wrong.
Hansung's motivations here are...... More interesting than you'd think.
so the 'top' of the tower as we know right now is the kingdom of Jahad, which is mainly where all the ranker are. Even if you reach the 'top', being associated with a irregular will probably make you an outcast from other ranker.
12:54 yo that painting on the wall-
The idea behind "you get to climb the tower quickly but you'll be his accomplices" is less of like "you get to take the easy route" and more of "an Irregular will carry you so hard that you don't even have to try, but you'll be permanently stuck attatched to him."
If only an irregular can take That test does that mean the king of the tower is an irregular ?! 🤔
Yeah, Jahad’s an irregular
Ah the bit moment coming up prepare your self
Everybody got new hairstyles now
I would highly recommend reading the webtoon at the same time as watching the show (red up to where the show leaves off) that’s what I do to not miss any info and it really helps. The webtoon has a lot more information on everything
Lupa if you plan on reading it get ready. This is like the one piece of manwa
Interesting to notice that Yu Hansung has a fisherman title
There is a great detail in Rachel on that episode...i remind you in the comment when the season ends.
Bruh that creature are the Administrator, the Floor Administrator.
Yo forget god tower for a sec and let me just say yall hair is on point
brother I liked your black power ranger shirt ... friend morphosis ... good vibes man
I really thought Mr. Happy Meal Toy was about to get the business.
Irregulars are dangerous to the tower and being an accomplice to one puts a target on ur back from King Jahad himself.
The reason they made bam take the pack with the administrator was to get access to a a shinsu because normally you can't access it unless your an irregular then you dont need a pack
Making a contract with the administrator isn’t to keep tabs on people. It’s to allow wave controllers to use shinsu
Rak became a new digimon, Dark Agumon
Irregulars are so incredibly uncommon that nobody would have reason to suspect Bam, even given his natural ability to control Shinsu.
It’s weird to travel with the irregular bc if you have a “system” for climbing the tower if you have an unknown force that can fuck up the system then the regular can think hmmm but for your own self desire to climb it can be acceptable to not conform to tower “rules”
I can't wait for their reaction to a certain event that'll happen in the next few episodes
to hell with the irregular's accomplice... khuns father is a irregular himself lol
Its not hansung yu the director that give the letter to hoh lmao yall will find it in the future episodes or maybe season 2 :)
For people who read the webcomic (potential spoilers)
Without spoiling, could you tell me if I'm on the right track?
- Are the creatures that the administrator and the spy used to fight, the same (respective) creature that greets people when they first get introduced to Shinsu. And is size indicative of the power of someone (Bam's creature looks massive)
Without spoiling anything
Nah
Again without spoiling
They all met the same creature it's just that the creature knew bam was a irregular so he told him it was a shackle to him and those creatures are called "administrators" if you didnt knew and each floor got different administrator
@@thatoneguywhodislikedthevi970 thanks for the explanation king
The reason why they were suprised about Baam being an Irregular, and why Baam didnt tell them was left out in the anime. But When Baam met Yuri, she told him to keep the fact that he was an irregular secret, because it would put him in danger if he told anyone.
Lol all 3 wearing popular jamaica hair style, locks, braids and chiney bump lol represent #🇯🇲
