How wonderful to be able to see all those gorgeous flowers again in this video, Georgie… You were absolutely right about the yellow and so many people at the wedding asked me about the flowers, saying how stunning they were. The bride was very happy indeed and so was I, having the opportunity to work with your flowers. Sooo lovely to just take them out of the buckets and snip the stems without having to remove plastic film and single use bands. Thank you again - Claire xx
Thanks for sharing your experience and eye for colour. Without getting too technical you explained beautifully why pink, white and yellow are a winning combination. Such a tonic to watch your videos. Nature and colour plus a good helping of humour with the occasional comment from Teacake 🤗🐶xx
I grow almost everything in my garden from your arrangement, and I always like to create not banal colour/texture combinations. You are my soulmate in the flower world, this why I enjoy so much watching you videos.❤ Thank you very much for sharing your passion.
Absolutely gorgeous. One very lucky bride to have the opportunity to arrange your wonderful flowers. Your final bouquet was stunning, a perfect demonstration of the power of colour and form. Thank you so much, you are an inspiration 😊
Stunning as always Georgie! A beautiful start to my Saturday morning. I have pink and white cosmos, but only calendula for the splash of yellow. I may have some feverfew which hasn't gone over....so I'm off in a bit to see what I have and renew my vases. Thankyou for your knowledge. x
Glorious!!!! YOU and the flowers. Your artistry is breathtaking. I watch your videos more than once very often. Thank you for sharing with us. I love love love what you do.
Your flower farm is so beautiful and the flowers you picked for that wedding will look amazing , That bouquet you made with the giant pink dahlia is stunning, After watching your videos for the past few months my bouquets that I arrange from my own garden are becoming much more interesting , thank you for that.
You are an incredible teacher and a wonderful artist. I learn so much from you and your trained eye. I'd be thrilled with a delivery of your flowers. Perfect - just perfection.
Fabulous! This has been so helpful as I need to cut an arrangement for the house because I've got a friend visiting tomorrow. You've reminded me to get a full one third foliage which is reassuring as flowers are getting sparser in my garden for late summer. Yes loving the yellow with the pink and white and I've some white and pink cactus dahlias to hopefully get some full colour in there 😊 Oh just to say standing at the door illuminated the flowers beautifully but it was very hard to see your face as you were in deep shadow. Maybe a clip on lamp or Anglepoise might fix the lighting a little. Cheers I'm off to cut flaars ❤😊😊
lol - we are very low tech here at Common Farm - when I finally move into the project up the field we may get more sophisticated lighting - but we are spending so much money disneyfying the place I doubt there'll be any left for practicalities xxx
Another wonderful video Georgie. You said without the yellow, the combination would not be as uplifting. You made me ponder- what principles do you use when designing for a funeral vs other gatherings?
So when when we bought our house I thought that I only wanted white flowers, but then I realized that only white ones were a bit boring, so I began to add color, but then I only wanted cool colors, and I only recently starting adding some yellow flowers, and you're totally right, they really do make it more interesting. But I still don't really like yellow 😉 💚

Yellow is so uplifting and happy, and is delightful with pink and white flowers with lemonie and green foliage.😊

A neopolitan glory ❤.
glad you agree x
Boy, I agree those glads really lift the whole field. By the way, get yourself a stool! Love these ‘sessions’!
lol - I have a stool - but it's red so doesn't go with the scheme! x
Your point is well taken! I agree entirely with you and will incorporate yellow going forward.
go for it x

Good question - I use exactly the same principles for funerals - funeral flowers should never be funereal x
Just stunning Georgie as usual, your so clever.😊
thank you x
Absolutely beautiful, I love watching you and your beautiful creations.
Thank you so much! x
