- Flower farmer and florist Georgie Newbery creates gorgeous white flower arrangements for a grand country house, Huntsham Court in Devon. Along with her regular orders, and with students gaining experience as she works, through her creative jobs in her usual systematic way, making floristry like this possible in a strict time scale. Have to ask: do your clients return the lovely vases and jars to be reused or do you have to charge for them? Fantastic content, genuine, generous and joyful, a breath of fresh air in today’s world.

Love the story behind the gentleman's funeral flowers, I do believe he watched with a smile. Wouldn't it be nice if someone at the venue were to snap a picture of people when they arrive and see those gorgeous arrangements. Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend, here on the shore in Maryland, it's been a rainy 3 days so far =^\

they are loaned - well, the hire is included in the price - they all come back to me afterwards x

What is the stripy grass, please?
never quite sure of the variety - I bought it at a village plant sale years ago - there are lots of stripy grasses you can buy - do a little research to find one to suit your ground but beware, they can be invasive x
