Interest in this kind of knowledge has always waxed and waned throughout history. We've had many other periods when it was popular. The dawning of the "age of Aquarius" was written during another one of these eras. We had a surge of it in the 1980s too. It will always be around but if people are expecting a worldwide era of mass enlightenment, it isn't going to happen like that.
It's sort of like Christians who believe Jesus will come down from the clouds and return for all to see in a great Second Coming and fulfill Biblical prophesy. It won't happen. Spirituality is ultimately an individual endeavor. Back to Jesus, even though he reached enlightenment in Christian lore, no one around him did. It's the same with the Buddha. He may have reached enlightenment and started a world religion, but there were not mass enlightenment around him.
We are each a unique piece of God and so we will reach enlightenment in our own unique and individual way. Philosophy and religion and "gurus" can help along the way, but they can't take you over the finish line. You cross that line into enlightenment alone. That is my belief.

I first read Passion of the Western Mind in the spring of 1993. It was the perfect capstone to my major in philosophy. I read Cosmos and Psyche in 2007, and started noticing the accuracy of archetypal astrology. I studied with Richard Tarnas at CIIS in 2010, for a PhD in Philosophy and Religion, with a concentration in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness. He is a scholar of the highest level carrying the Platonic torch heroically. My favorite lines: " "An initiation involves a dying to an old identity." (1:03:30) "I think of us being in a race between initiation and catastrophe." (1:29:12) He also talked about a "hyperskeptical black hole of subjectivity." (10:20) Ironically, I think the way out of that black hole of subjectivity it is to identify the subjective psyche with the singularity in the center of a black hole, in line with Jung's Leap Day equation, in 1952, of psychic energy and mass: "Psyche=highest intensity in the smallest space."

Passion of the western mind, the best book I ever read and particularly appreciated the end segment on the post modern. How Richard had the insight concerning all this in the early 90's i'll never know as he seemed to have incredible prescience in how this would all play out. And here we are stuck right in the middle of this nihilistic chaos of relativism and disconnect and so thankful we had such great wisdom from Richard teaching us about our deep dilemma.

It is all well and good to speculate on the existence of archetypes, the importance of initiations, or the spiritual potency of rituals. Yet, if our spiritual journey is not first and foremost a moral journey, then it is empty. True spirituality is the search for moral meaning: the right way to live, the right way to exist in relation to others. The only coherent spiritual path is one that proactively, and in a real-world way, expands the moral circle to include all existing and future beings capable of suffering. This is the opposite of dogma: to be relentlessly tied to the realities of the world, to the reality of suffering, and the reality of joy. So much of what passes for spirituality is childish nonsense. If you want your life to mean something, work to reduce suffering.

Synchrony marks moments of self development along an unfolding continuum of genetic teleology.... the psychoid appears as a mirror, drawing conscious awareness to conclude that inner change is valid. This binds the conscious stage between cns-rna-dna..... via the symbolic memory. This is the loop which is the whole of DNA witnessing itself.

This world offers many opportunities to develop our personality and individuate, but at the same time there are countless new ways to avoid facing it right now: pills, drugs, and entertainment. As long as people don't have to face What Is inside of them, they will stay there and dull themselves with all that the world of materialism and hedonism has to offer. I guess it is the same reason why people are more obese today, even having knowledge about diet and exercise. The new term "a boring dystopia" is an interesting description of what we are heading to, a comfortable and slow decline into irrelevance. I hope I'm wrong, because otherwise we are literally becoming less human.

I also came to this conclusion of coincidences and since then I see them everywhere. I came to this conclusion because of Immanuel Kant's words. At the time, I didn't know about Yuang.
Anyway, I want to offer a simpler way of looking at things. The objective reality is actually its form. Or in other words the shape, The form consists of two things, what is present and what is not. In other words, the numbers that go to infinity and the numbers that end in zero.
The second part is consciousness. Consciousness is on the form and outside of it.
I think I have already found the function.if anyone is interested I will be happy to expand.

The world just doesn’t feel groovy right now and it’s throwing off my deep feelings and understanding. I feel shallow and used up. Maybe our psyches together can stop WW3. It’s not looking like it. That would be like a hologram and I know there are scientific theories that point to that possibility but until now there is no solid consensus and evidence for that. Please proof me wrong I would be happy to learn more.

Someone better able to explain will hopefully comment. But the way I understand it, is like the universe is Mind, and humans are created just like apples are created on a tree - we come out of it all. And through us the Universe can experience itself. Each of us is the universe experiencing and learning through our self/body/mind. Our skulls don't separate us from the Mind all around us. Our consciousness is just part of Consciousness. Like we're all branches on the tree - Is a branch also the tree? ? I'm a new learner in all this so this was just my try.

Synchronicity is the Noumenon of Apophenia by way of Stigmergy, Distilled through the Mental lens of Simulacra. Using De-Noesis like cold fusion, the Sself then adjust's the feedback loop to create spontaneous Emergent Co-operation between Consciousness and Sub-Consciousness, that then can call on the inherent Wisdom and inter-connectedness of the sum total of Human knowledge, through Quantum Tunneling and Safa (Spooky action from afar) which can be defined as "Super-consciousness" (Inner-Tuition). Or God to the Religious Drones.
The Human Brain has folded itself into a Trans-dimensional Neologism in order to express this.

Instead of looking at the world from the top down and looking for an explanation for why everything is the same and fractal I would suggest you look from the bottom up and realize that only certain patterns can succeeded in replicating and seem permanent. There is more ways to fail and fall back into chaos with the second law of thermodynamics And that’s why there is not much more diversity. Besides, what can be possible.
