I totally agree. All the videos and memes about how nuts and silly Link is, I don’t feel that they get the game or the story. They’re really overdone, too. There’s more serious, weighty atmospheres in the game’s world and plot than that. It’s like, are we even talking about the same thing?
This is zelda’s biggest sacrifice ever. Of any of her ancestors or anyone going by the namesake of zelda. she gave up herself indefinitely for the safety of her kingdom. Relying on the one person she trusted most. it makes me cry every time. she has always been a strong and wholesome character of nintendo but this has to be the best portrayal of her in the zelda series

You know the other day I was thinking that 24 minutes is a full day. Thinking of the hours like this it would of taken years to get to the ending. Kind of sad feeling this realization evokes.

Funniest Zelink hint was Zelda talking about Link to Rauru and Sonia, almost like a daughter gushing over the boy she likes to her parents before bringing him home to meet them.
Looking at that tear sparked a new emotion in me. I haven't even complted half the story yet and have been collecting those tears across the kingdom. Now they aren't just some story triggers, they now are my zelda's tears. With every tear, she's recalling our life together and I see a way to get back there. I now want to rescue her more than ever!! Wish such animation is included in game at the right moment
This was a charming and epic animation that was well presented and transitioned from whimsical to tragedy in a smooth transition. This took me by surprise, and it was brilliant!

WOW. WOW!!!!! This has to be one of my favorite animations of all time. The first part is adorable and so calming to watch, I really love seeing their cute interactions. I was so excited when they held hands by the firefly pond and then seeing it in the dragon's tear made my heart break. How cute and sad :( i have rewatched this like 20 times, thank you for this gorgeous work. I have been loving your TOTK animations so far, can't wait to keep seeing them!! hope to see something with these two again 😭💜
this is the cutest but also most beautiful and sentimental totk animation i’ve seen! i love seeing people’s interpretations of what happened before the upheaval and everything, and this one was just so well put together with the music too ❤️
Dude, forget about not being good enough, this was made with passion and effort, and its clearly shown. The ending was amazing, you have a really good sense of timing and composition, this was truly remarkable.
I liked the fact that Zelda tried to grab his hand before they both grabbed each other’s hands, to show that Link is shy about his feelings and tries to hide them from Zelda in case she would feel uncomfortable about that. Also the detail of Zelda’s ears turning red when she blushed was really nice.
This is so heart wrenching. Just the emotions conveyed at the end even with Zelda being a dragon and link being link was so hard to see. And with all the sweet memories and moments between them at the start made it all the better. You conveyed this all so beautifully, and adorably. Keep up the amazing work. And also keep making me want to cry 😂❤

Art is meant to evoke emotion within those who observe it, this evoked many emotions within me. Happiness and joy at Link and Zelda's antics. Building up to Dragon Zelda's forgotten sorrow at the loss of her time with Link. Link's anger as he battles the hinox and grief at his loss of Zelda and all they both cherished. His fatigue showing through his unwavering will to reach his princess. I have felt all of this and more. Regardless of your art style, you are an amazing artist and don't let anyone tell you otherwise...even yourself.
The animation was so cute! Loved to see very happy moments in Hyrule with Zelda before things like the calamity, or the upheaval ended up happening. The transition from happy to sad tho with the dragon ;-; Was done beautifully well!
I like how Zelda as a dragon is just watching herself through all of Hyrule Warriors and BOTW and the start of TOTK before going back in time just wishing she could say leave the corpse under the castle alone

I… don’t really know if it’s just my imagination or not, but when I stand on the Light Dragon’s snout, I feel like I can faintly hear Zelda’s voice under the music. I can’t discern it (I also play with the Japanese voice acting), but… she might be trying to talk to Link again, probably saying something like “You found me,” or “I did this for you, Link,” or “I’m sorry I had to do this… but it was the only way…” It’s so sad. Riding the Light Dragon is an incredible experience-she’s the only dragon that doesn’t need any special gear equipped to stand on-but there’s a bitter taste in the air. The dragon doesn’t know you’re even on her, not reacting to your presence at all aside from when you pull the Master Sword out. She doesn’t know who you are. And for the other dragons, especially in BOTW, this isn’t much of an issue since you just see them as these immortal elemental spirits. But when you see that last Tear cutscene, and realize just what-and who-the Light Dragon is… that is when the tears break out. Zelda. The person Link spent the most time with, all those shared adventures 100 years ago, all that time getting to know her, seeing her put herself down for not unlocking her power, having to risk his own life to free her from her endless burden against the Calamity… is gone. There’s nothing left of Zelda. She’s just… a mindless dragon, cursed to eternally roam the skies. And as far as Link knows, there’s no way to turn her back. She’s stuck like this forever, never to return to the woman he knew, the woman he swore to protect, who he is possibly in love with. All that’s left is a voice I’m not even sure is real…

I like funny animations, I like horror animations. But I never appreciate wholesome animations. I really like this one though. Art style is cute, animation is cute, it’s all so cute! Love it!
What's absolutely top notch about this, and I'm not sure if this is the right way to say it, but the pacing/composition/direction of this short story. Conveyed a lot with a very short amount of time, especially with the transition. And the ending with the objective marker was an awesome touch.

How many hearts...
I have 2 wheels of stamina and I think 15 or so hearts, with my current strongest armor being a 28 defense.
@@Archiniax you should be fine. The gloom damage is usually only two hearts if you have good defense
