  • A BRUCKNER A MONTH
For the fifth video in our series, we decided to record a piece by Bruckner that is not typical for him as a composer: Abendklänge (WAB 110). Bruckner is best known for his majestic symphonic works and beautiful choral music, but wrote a few pieces for chamber music as well. His string quartet and quintet are still quite well known, but his Abendklänge, originally written for violin and piano, is rarely played. To us, the piece doesn't feel typical Brucknerian at all, but therefore even more interesting. We even found some Piazzolla in the bass line, curious to see what you think... Sebastiaan made a great arrangement for our trombone quartet: enjoy!

Are there plans for an album? I'd like to purchase some of the music up here.

Sounds great! Keep up the great work!
Also, on my channel/page you can find many public domain brass arrangements you can use! Including Bruckner.
