All-new 2024 Ford Kuga Facelift - Best C-Segment SUV | Kuga Specs Features
Ford has revealed the Ford Kuga Facelift, featuring a revamped exterior and interior. Positioned as one of the Best-selling Europe's beloved family cars within the competitive mid-size SUV category, the new Kuga competes with counterparts like the Nissan Qashqai and Hyundai Tucson.
If you're acquainted with the current-generation Ford Kuga, you'll notice the alterations Ford has made to the exterior design. At the front, there are fresh LED headlights - with optional adaptive Dynamic Pixel LED units - and an updated grille, featuring a larger Ford emblem at its center. A LED lightbar spans across the front grille, seamlessly connecting to the daytime running lights, while the tail lights have also undergone a redesign.
New to the Kuga range is the Active model, bringing a rugged, off-road-focused appearance to the mid-size SUV. It gets unique bumpers with skid plates, along with a choice of 18 or 19-inch alloy wheels and a matte wood-effect trim finish on the inside. Opt for the pricier Active X Series model, and you’ll get a black contrasting roof and black wing mirrors.
The Kuga Active shares the lineup with ST-Line and Titanium models. The Titanium model trades ruggedness for sophistication, incorporating chrome trim on the bumpers and window surrounds. On the other hand, the ST-Line embraces a sportier appearance, featuring body-colored lower bumpers enhanced by a subtle front spoiler. To complete the performance-inspired aesthetic, red brake calipers are included, though they are exclusive to the ST-Line X model.
Additionally, there are fresh color options for the Kuga, such as Desert Island Blue and Bursting Green, alongside classic choices like Agate Black, Solar Silver, Frozen White, and Lucid Red. Buyers also have the option to select from five new alloy wheel designs.
While the fundamental structure of the Kuga interior remains unchanged, drivers will observe the introduction of a new 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen, featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Certain physical controls, like the heating and ventilation functions, have been moved to this touchscreen, yet they can also be managed using integrated Alexa voice commands. The 12.3-inch digital driver's display, previously reserved for top-spec models of the outgoing Kuga, is now a standard inclusion across the entire range.
new Kuga features Ford’s latest-generation SYNC 4 infotainment offering twice the computing power of the previous system. Integrating seamlessly with smartphones, it has 5G connectivity for fast access to information, cloud-connected navigation to help stay ahead of the jams.
in terms of powertrain, The Kuga base engine is a 1.5-liter petrol engine paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, delivering 150hp. Additionally, there's a 2.5-liter petrol hybrid generating 180hp, with the option of front or all-wheel drive. Opting for the latter allows for a towing capacity of up to 2100kg, making it the best in class for a hybrid.
The plug-in hybrid Kuga has consistently been the preferred option, and the latest version boasts an enhanced all-electric range. It combines a 2.5-liter petrol engine with an electric motor, achieving up to 69km or 42 miles of range solely on the battery. This marks an improvement of approximately seven miles compared to the previous model.
The new Ford Kuga will be available to order in the next few weeks, with deliveries starting in the coming months. There are four trim levels to choose from, with prices starting from £32,080. That’s actually around £1,000 less than the outgoing car, and it’s £2,000 cheaper than a Volkswagen Tiguan.

It’s so annoying when these people who produce these video’s on vehicles, spend 99% of the time just showing the exterior, 1% showing just the interior and on top of that, no mention of what is standard equipment or demonstration of interior functionality…. We spend 99.9% of the time in the vehicle as a driver, that is way more important than just how the exterior looks… just for future reference to the video makers. Finally point, do you have a rubbish voice or something???? What’s with all your videos using computer voices???…
