It’s really strange for Rory to disclose this personal information at the start of a major championship week, and the day after Mother’s Day.
*My level of respect for Rory has dropped after he filed for divorce from his wife the week after Mother's Day! A real man doesn't desert his little daughter Poppy who doesn't understand when she asks "where's daddy?"*
it was a shock to most i'm sure (me included) and i woke up and saw it on my phone - couldn't believe my eyes; but it's not the first or last time someone famous has divorced. It is technically a private matter. We don't know what really went on behind the scenes.

Very judgemental. Just putting it out there but if she's been having an affair or abusive in some way should he stay for his daughter's sake? Answer is no. Sometimes the best thing for the children is for parents to separate.
