Capacitors are ALWAYS the bottleneck. I basically "buy" them indirectly by going to traders and buying cheap starter items like the flashlight, geiger counter, PDA 1.0, and Echo detector. These tend to be fairly cheap, and once disassembled, basically amount to buying capacitors for a few thousand rubles each. You can recoup some of the cost by selling back the excess transistors, fasteners etc.
You can sorta "force" NPCs to trade with you by pressing either X or Left Shift. Learned that one in Gamma and it seems to work in Anomaly too - good way to get electronic devices for parts.
I'm fairly certain it'll be great! I know I'll enjoy it and even if it's not quite my "perfect" cup of tea just you wait, mods will be pouring in and then we'll be able to curate the game to whatever manner we want.
1:08:48 Yum, tasty black mold! I think it's kinda pointless to think about GOTY before I've gotten my hands on it, if ever at all. That said, I know that, barring any major issues, I am going to enjoy it. I'm so excited to see the artifacts in Stalker 2. Actually seeing them in my hands, watching them glow and do all sorts of anomalous stuff, it's gonna be rad.
I hope there's a mission in stalker 2 where you bring sid or barman a duffel bag full of 'Anomaly' junk and they just tell you to fuck off and go get something valuable
@@Tekisasubakani I've developed custom mods for the run that support a "no-healing" ruleset while preserving Prey's core gameplay. Tweaks like food and medkits granting temporary damage resistance instead of health, and similarly with the Toughness upgrades. Recording is in progress. :)
@@CatspawAdventures Sounds rad, would those mods work to continue on to Moonfall once you finish the main game? Though I suppose Moonfall is kinda YOLO, just multiple times, eh?
@@Tekisasubakani Yeah YOLO would probably be a bit redundant to Mooncrash's rogue-lite format. I assume the ability changes at least wouldn't carry over anyway, since MC has its own unique subtrees for each character.
Missions From Ukraine with love are extraction mission. One of these bandits is your disguised friend and to know wich one you need to check in mission what weapon is he carrying. You remove other bandits and 3rd one will become your companion to take back to base
Blondie, what is the loadout (armour, weapons, belt attachments etc.) that you are working towards? Thanks! (I often ose track of where you are when you fast travel because I am not always looking at the screen.)
Check the menu settings, you can tweak the faction and trader missions there, and when you are there, please look at the trader prices setting. It is absolutely disgusting to see those prices so high. Edit: Planning for a sortie...easy....Think of everything that can go wrong, multiply it by 2 and there you go...plan made, and don't forget the grenades. Usually I go with 450 AP rounds, 50 sniper rounds, 10 grenades for the underbarrel launcher, 6 frags, 6 pineapples and 2 ieds(depending on the map). I find that it is enough to wipe all the enemies from the map with enough left over for the muties. That way I can stroll at my leisure to all the stash points on the map, set up a stash and fast travel point and get out before the map repopulates. Edit 2: If you wanted to, you could cheese the kill a stalker missions in RF by setting up a fast travel point just inside the transit point. Next time you get a kill order for a stalker in RF, just fast travel to the stash and just chill there until the target is killed by an enemy or mutant.
It depends on how you play. I usually just free roam until I am at least veteran/master. During that time I do fetch quests and arty hunt and sell all the arties. By the time I am ready to do the story line. I have at least 3m+. Then I just buy the ammo I need to get the mission done.
Loved the Golden Eye reference

Wooo Hooo!!! Red Forest! The map I actively avoid! Let's go!!!
I don't mind the RF, it is Limansk and Generators that I despise with a passion.

I'm fairly certain that the number of tasks you can accept at any given time is a vanilla options menu setting.

Prey would be an interesting YOLO, curious to see how you make it work.

Professor Sakharov is now armed (1:57:30)? I hadn't noticed that earlier. :D

I think the hostage fell foul of the falling asset bug, imo.

I dont think I ever had 450 AP ammo in my storage and you take it casually to the battlefield. Too easy mode for Blondie.
