Hey Rick, thanks for the great and informative videos. Please do a video of how you cut your hair. It would be very informative being that you are a skilled barber. Thanks!
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rick awesome videos. However, I was looking for part-3. What I truly need, if you can supply a video on how to cut the hair. Which I sport a similar hairstyle like yours, short on the sides and back, my bangs reach my upper lip which gives me the opportunity, to style the hair system anyway I want to. Also I would like to know what would be the charge for you to style my hair system. Stay safe & healthy... Abrazos
You've never had a "human hair" hairpiece before... so in the other videos, the hairpieces are of synthetic hair, or do I get it wrong? If so, which do you prefer, synthetic or human hair? Thank you so much for all the useful information! Kindly regards.
Thanks for the question. Actually, the dark hair is human and the grey is synthetic. I have gotten human grey hair before and found it to be dry and frizzy. The synthetic, for me, was much more manageable. Have a good one! Peace!!
My unit came with the longest hair ever. Its standard 8x10. I need 7x10 if not maybe 6x10. So my question is, once its cut, will i be cutting away length too or does all that hair thats cut off be part of the total length of the unit as it was? Im concerned being as I surely dont need the long sides but i do need every centimeter to the back since I have a very low bald pattern. Thanks
You will have no worries to trim off what you don’t need on the sides. Just be careful to cut the skin and not the hair. Thanks for the great question !!!!
Thanks. So I cut about an inch off to the sides, but not to the back where I need it. I think I actually have to take a good half Inch more off now. Wow
Hey man! So if the unit is to large for the bald area it will overlap into your natural hair. You should cut it down to fit. I put the glue on the skin unit itself instead of my scalp. Easier for me. But if the unit is to large the glue gets into my natural hair. If you put the glue on your head the unit will have a flap around the edge that’s not glued down. With that being said, it’s much less problematic if the unit is a bit too small rather than too large. Good luck to ya…thanks for your comment! Peace
Hey Rick, just an FYI. Your affiliative link to super hair is wrong. With the ?aff=24 its not registering in the link so you might want to fix that or you wont get your commission :)
@@BrittDale what I do,in the shop is cut ins, you come with the hair on your head and I will make it look as it should. I also teach one on one classes. Shop number is 817 641 3429. Leave a message.
Hey Rick I had a system sent to me for free to review, however they cut it B4 hand for me and the women totally messed up the hairline. I tried my best and my grandmothers funeral is tomorrow and I'm freaking out. I don't know what to do. It's 00.8mm
I hope this is not too late to reply. I saw it was sent 17 hours ago sorry about that dude you need to find somebody that’s good with cutting and systems to see what can be done to fix that. I really don’t know what you meant by the front hairline being messed up whether it was the Poly scan or the actual hair itself so if I can do anything to help, let me know
This is terrific, Rick. I've commented before so I think you know I'm an experienced HD111 hair system wearer. Very comfortable with my own installation process, and I've learned much from you. Great to have the knowledge and perspectives of an experienced barber in this as well; very valuable! I'm wondering if you're going to do a video on how to cut and style the system? Do you do this yourself? I have a terrific stylist up here in Canada but she can get a little busy at times. I plan to keep using her but in a pinch I'd like to be able to do up a system myself. Not sure if this is realistic but I do have the equipment and a few M101's (new ones that I won't be using) to practice on. Just a thought: not sure if this is reasonable. Hair cutting is undoubtedly a job that requires experience and training. Dave
Hey Dave! Cutting the system is indeed a different story. However, cutting a system is not as difficult as cutting an entire haircut. Doing a video on cutting might be a good idea. Have a great one my friend…..Rick😊
Hey Rick, another great 2 videos. Very informative. I wished I had watched these two videos before I put my first hairpiece on my head. Looking forward to the video in which you demonstrate how to put the unit on the head either using glue or tape. As always, keep 'em coming.
What is the density of this unit? I most likely have similar hair density on the sides as you. I’m gray/white around the sides and along the back bottom of the neck. Worried about color matching.
Ah, gotcha. So, when I’m cutting the skin to fit I only cut the skin and not the hair. But, when I pull the extra skin away from the remaining base that I will use, there is hair attached to it that is on the excess part of the unit I cut away. If I cut into any hair, I’m running the risk of cutting hair on the base I will use. So, I make sure to avoid doing that. Hope that clears it up for ya.
@@thehighlevelman Thank you so much for your content and your passion! We definitely need more spoke person like you in the space. It definitely will be the new norm in the future!
Awesome information. However i have to say as informative it is, i wish you would have shown more closeups. The worse was the cutting of the hairline. We couldn't see that being done at all. Too much of a wide shot showing your whole house instead. Then we finally got better shots with you cutting the hair along the base. Another wide shit where we cant see upclose to one of another very important cutting. Luckily I found other videos where they show it upclose. Hey this is not to say yiur video's are not good, but to just say maybe closer views are so much better. I liked and subscribed by the way.
It's the irritating damn music for a lack of a better term. You find yourself going along with it be honest, what you're doing would be so much better if we can see it and not hear all the jibber jabber.

I can do that!
Thanks fa sharing..!
You're welcome
Can you do a detailed video on how you cut it in? That’s one of the most important parts I think.
The next cut in I do I will video

I will be doing that soon! Thanks
Also, the charge is seventy five to “cut in” a system. A regular maintenance cut is just thirty five. 😄👊🏽
My bad man I’ve been having all my clients pick that out for there installs 🤦🏻♂️🤣🙌
Your awesome! Appreciate you!
So inspiring !
Thank for sharing 😍
Thank you buddy

No worries my friend. I just installed a new unit. I cut an inch and a half off the sides and an inch off the back. It’s all good. Peace!

Superhairpieces, hd111, dark brown 60% grey, light to med density. Peace my brother!
Hey your tutorials is a bit confusing. You said to cut the skin and not the hair? But once you cut the skin in your video, I see tons of hair on it?
