The Kiwis have been coming to Indiana since the late-80's. New Zealand is in the middle of their winter, and Indy offers an inexpensive base where they can train and race, as well as having access to a great velodrome.

Podunk town perhaps but actually a pretty good race, and great to have some extra talent bringing up the level. Local riders will remember that one! (And enjoy every second of that baby.)
Reminds me of when some Dutch national team members came to NYC's local Tuesday night series at Floyd Bennett Field when I was racing there. They absolutely schooled all of us locals on the exposed and windy course.

I see actually attendance is poor, road is dying across the globe. Great video to show your kids one day when all this folds. As for the southern hemisphere representation, love it! My homies doing good.
