The most hype guitar solo ever. It’s not the most impressive or emotionally moving thing by any means, but goddamn does it get you hyped beyond belief.
@@BareBandSubscription That attitude would later be called "Punk".
Please watch the eurobeat version of Free Bird you beautiful drunk bastard

What is this comment? Southern rock is a specific sound and style of music; not a political thing. As if a band has to be racist to be Southern rock lol like wtf
Completely missing the point of dynamics comment.
@@SanguineThor
Please explain, because it sounds more like some brain dead stereotyping to me than anything else. Southern rock is a style of music. It’s a sound. It has nothing to do with “the racism of the south”.
@@BareBandSubscription I think they’re referring to some of the racist shit in Skynrd songs more than the Southern part lol
@@TwigCity
If that’s true, I can understand, but then they did a poor job of conveying that because it sounds like they’re just saying “Skynyrd is above the racism of the South and therefore not southern rock imo” or something. Idk I’m from around New Orleans (a historically blue and progressive city in the south), so comments along these lines will always naturally irritate me a bit, but this person sincerely doesn’t seem to understand what even defines this style of music at all.
@@BareBandSubscription Yeah I think it was worded really really bad, or like you said they just don’t get it
#FreeBird
My favorite pro segregation band
this man hasn’t done his research
@@MrPudding101 I guess personal interviews with the band members, the band themselves saying they would campaign for George Wallace. And unsurprisingly white supremacists being smart enough to not tell CNN and only fly confederate flags in the south. Is me not doing research.
Actually funny joke bc it's not true
I mean, they praise George Wallace in "Sweet Home Alabama" so you have a point

Yeah, but California lynched like 3 black people in the summer of 2020, so I’m not sure anyone in this country should be throwing stones at any particular region.
