I agree except I feel weird about the instrumental during the chorus, it feels slightly altered from the original. It feels more like a steady beat than the Tom fill punchy funk sound on the album - which to me is the best part of the song and what makes the chorus punch so hard, like you can tell how cruel of a summer it is lol that punch in the heart feeling from that part is so good. But it might just be me idk lol could be my sound or the live setup dampening it.
I’m 64 worked for a Cable company back in 83-86 and I had MTV on all day in my office. When Cruel Summer came on with the sound off I thought OK 3 pretty chics and a silly video then I turned the sound on and was like wow! Was a Beatles, Badfinger, Pink Floyd, Chicago and Moody Blues fan but I liked them a lot! Not just easy on the eyes but a great sound. My friends at the time were like this is bubble gum music? Well I never thought so! Now my buddies daughters still listen to them along with the Beatles, Kiss and other 60’s, 70’s and 80’s groups.
WOW! That was good! They sounded excellent and all look smashing. What a class act. And Siobhan looks like she's having such a terrific time--her energy and delight are palpable. What a pleasure to see her back with her original mates.
They have the same beautiful voice than the 80's and they still are beautiful women...damn , that I dance on their songs, one of my favorite groups of the 80's...most of the singers from Britain are the bests !!!

These women are incredibly talented and amazingly gorgeous! Their dance moves and vocals are fantastic. It would be incredible to play a bluesy solo and fills throughout the song. Lots of extra creative things, on top of their wonderfully global hit. 🎸🎸🤟🤟
