This song represents my granddad, Alan Charles Goodridge, about 8 or 9 years ago he was taken away from the world due to a deadly disease named Cancer. And there's so much I wanna say to him, I have a boyfriend now of 6 months and if my granddad was here today I think he would of loved to meet him. Yes I was going through a lot when I said "don't go, I need you" no one knew why I said that until I had a mental breakdown. I miss you granddad, everyday, every minute, hour and second I miss you. I'm turning 22 in 6 days and to be honest my birthdays still are not the same without you there to make everyone laugh and be happy. I remember the Christmas dinner you sat at the table at my house and made a joke. I remember the first time I met you and I hid behind my mum and you helped me get to know you by playfully poking your head round the side making funny faces and getting me to laugh. I was 4 when that happened and it still stuck with me as one of the best moments. Though we have good memories that I will cherish forever and always, I will miss you forever and I want to let you know (even though you'll never read this) I love you granddad and miss you very much. I sang this to my wife at our wedding, badly and with no prep as I was challenged to sing and this was the first love song that came to mind of which I knew the words. Robin Hood was a favourite film of mine as a kid and this song was part of the soundtrack to my summer of 1991. It lives long in the memory.

This song represents my granddad, Alan Charles Goodridge, about 8 or 9 years ago he was taken away from the world due to a deadly disease named Cancer. And there's so much I wanna say to him, I have a boyfriend now of 6 months and if my granddad was here today I think he would of loved to meet him. Yes I was going through a lot when I said "don't go, I need you" no one knew why I said that until I had a mental breakdown.
I miss you granddad, everyday, every minute, hour and second I miss you. I'm turning 22 in 6 days and to be honest my birthdays still are not the same without you there to make everyone laugh and be happy. I remember the Christmas dinner you sat at the table at my house and made a joke. I remember the first time I met you and I hid behind my mum and you helped me get to know you by playfully poking your head round the side making funny faces and getting me to laugh. I was 4 when that happened and it still stuck with me as one of the best moments.
Though we have good memories that I will cherish forever and always, I will miss you forever and I want to let you know (even though you'll never read this) I love you granddad and miss you very much. Rest easy my gaurdian angel 🕊️😭😭😭😭

Well , since then I Have a beautiful Daughter and she is worth my life ❤, I also have the Robin hood cassette original one with his famous song, any way ,I let myself go and got hopeless, well my Daughter gave me the hope again , I am making progress slow , but I'm go I ng to listen to Bryan Adams greatest hits cd and its going to help me get healthy again, Thank you Brian Adams for a wonderful music, and energy of hope!
