Your gift wrapping sessions are always so relaxing - unlike mine, which are filled with cursing over the wrapping paper being to sturdy and constantly coming apart when I'm trying to hold the gift ribbon in place with just two hands (that's at least one too few) while tying it together only to find that the knot is not in the middle... I get aggrevated even thinking about it. Next year, I'm gonna cheat as well and use adhesive tape.
U didn’t already use that?? I always use tape and NEVER ribbon bc it just doesn’t make sense

It's good to see that i'm not the only one who cuts wrapping paper with such technical precision haha, you really do need to get a tape dispenser though. They are a saviour in a wrapping paper crisis

I agree with you though, Id rather miss seeing people for 1 Christmas than risk not having any more with them. Christmas can be lonely yes, but in this modern age we have acess to connections in other ways. Embrace them.

Would you consider changing the water bottle (I guess that is what makes the noise) to a water dish for your guinea pigs? These bottles aren’t recommended for pets, because
1. the bottle can’t be properly and thoroughly cleaned (a lot of nooks and crannies)
2. the animals natural head position while drinking is down/parallel to the ground, so reaching the tube/straw of the bottle is unnatural
3. especially in warmer climate/season animals need to drink more water, but with the weird ball-mechanism in the straw/tube water flow is limited and the animal can’t get the needed water fast enough => dehydration
You also said, that one of your guinea pigs drinks frequently, which could be another indication, that they aren’t getting the appropriate amount of water from the bottle. I’d advice you to get a heavy ceramic bowl and place it somewhere, where it can’t get dirty easily
They can’t get their tiny necks over the lip of the bowls though... I’ve had many hogs and have never had a problem with these bottles 🤷♀️
@@VisualSounds1 this is only an advice voiced by many other pet owners who have experienced worse outcomes with these bottles. I am glad nothing happens with your hogs yet, but the argument “I didn’t have a problem until now” doesn’t apply when talking about your pets well-being. Only changing things AFTER they have gone wrong, despite knowing better, is kinda unfair towards your pets. Educating yourself even with years of experience is important.
I am sorry if I crossed a line or sounded dramatic.
Maybe try a flat bowl like a saucer for plant pots, that is made of clay/ceramic
@@arigatou312 I've tried the bowl and they refuse to go near it, it has actually scared Maple a little. Most people use the bottles, they're perfectly fine and I've never had a problem with them (not even now)
