Thanks for the review! To be honest, cheap light stand might be better, because cheap, while doing the same job. -- Sound -- not sure this is an issue...? Shouldn't move light stands around in the middle of a take. -- Speed of deployment -- potentially the cheap one is faster! You can also get cheap light stands with lever locks for even more speed. -- Head problems -- that's definitely a concern, especially after a year, but I think your mileage will vary. I've had the same cheap light stands (as well as more expensive light stands) for over a decade, without the head falling off. But the compactness of the Ulanzi is potentially a big deal. And if you do want to use a light stand as a tripod, for whatever reason, then carbon fibre gives better results than aluminium.
I would be curious what the weight is of the cheap $10 light stand (as a comparison with the 465g of the ulanzi stand). Not sure if I can trust anything stated on an Amazon listing. 🙂
What do you think this as a main tripod? they market this as a tripod after all. I'm just a novice who's looking for something to replace my broken $10 tripod, and this feels like an insane value to me(I want something that could extend really tall and this thing perfectly fits that condition. also It's my first time seeing carbon fiber stuff at this price range) will it work? is the legs too narrow to be a good tripod?
I wouldn't use this as a main tripod. It can definitely work, but it's never going to be as stable. This is a great light stand that can work as a tripod or selfie stick in a pinch.
If you can receive one. I ordered 2 direct from ULANZI with a 5 day delivery.. 1.5 months later no stands and investigation by PayPal/Amex. Be careful not a company I would trust for delivery. Only buy if you can physically take it away with you. Such a shame looks a great product…. Just the manufacture so suspect.
докопался до быстроты разборки ! сам себя противоречит! столько лишнего сказал за этот ролик, что я раз 10 ть бы собрал эту стойку. короче придрался не важной части !

Free product, did the shirt come free?
You’re doing an honest review while wearing an ULANZI t-shirt? 😂😂😂
What this has to do with anything?
@@Romafedorov Duh. You appear bias in ur review when wearing a t shirt
hi, I would use the center piece for 360 cameras (with a mini tripod), can you tell me the length of the piece without the 3 legs?
Thanks Simo

Ulanzi MT21 would be better. It's shorter btw
Base of the center pole is 1/4” or 3/8” thread?
Carbon fiber always looks sick! Weighs less too! 😄
That's true!
"They did send it for review, but it's not sponsored" --did you have to send it back?
what is light that used for this video ?

hmm will it be okay for nanlite forza 60B?
I don't think so.

Don’t order direct from Ulanzi. Help needed no delivery 35 days late, no contact from Ulanzi, no shipping details … seems like a scam.
