Local school districts respond to PragerU partnership

- The Oklahoma State Department of Education announced Sept. 5 a partnership with PragerU Kids.
PragerU defines itself as "a free alternative to the dominant left-wing ideology in culture, media, and education."
PragerU is not an official university, nor does it offer degrees or certifications.

Say NO to propaganda in schools - whether it comes from the left OR right!
The problem is that conservatives have labeled fact-based education as "propaganda" because it doesn't advance their agenda. Neither the claims nor the people making them should be taken seriously, but we have a media climate that has shattered the Overton Window by giving crackpots and fascists a platform in the interest of telling "both sides".
There is no "both sides" when you're talking to fascists, flat earthers, and bigots. You let them have their slimy corners of the internet, but you do not put them at the table with the adults. We have real problems to solve in the world today, and you're not going to do it with authoritarianism, magical thinking, and conspiracy theories.

Well yeah? People like this have been picking rural kid's textbooks since 1960s. Even so, PragerU goes WAAY further. Even there's nothing /horrible/ in this curriculum, there's plenty in their internal material.
There's a long record of Prager holding extreme positions, and a current history of them syphoning $$$$ from states' education budgets in return for election donations to the officials who sign the deal.

A bunch of slaves were tired of being slaves, so they took freedom into their own hands, and were killed by General Lee, and PragerU praised him for that exact action.

(This is true for just about every politically driven business) I'm just seeing a lot of people condemning the content that they do out out as extreme and evil when from what I've seen is basic and straightforward as far as history is concerned, albeit pretty low budget
