Sounds a lovley engine definitely the best choice for the old bonser truck and this should be extra reliable because its electronic ignition so no points cleaning every farting 5 minutes 😂 anyways lovely job as usual definitely enjoying this restoration 👍
Little tip with needles and seats ...when cleaning down the bore and the seat, chuck a cotton swab in a drill. Works beautifully. Also if its not sealing well...use another cotton swab with the tiniest bit of valve lapping compound on the tip. Give it a light polish but don't go crazy. Then rinse it out with carb cleaner and air
I have been collecting wheel horse garden tractor for 40 years now and I am lucky to live there Wisconsin where they made those kohler k series engine and I decided that they were the best engine ever built years ago I put around 30 different sizes of new old stock kohler k series engine and parts in the storage units. I call this John deer koubota insurance to make sure I never own one of these cheap pieces of shit during my life time have several gravely walk behind tractor to that use them.if you think that engine is heavy weight till you get a gear reduction on the m ..Magnum k series...they require a 2 wheel cart to move. I enjoy watching your videos eir learn something new every time..I didn't know that you have wheel horse in Europe now I do. .
I was all for the Villiers, but I've come round to this one. It looks about right, won't look out of place on the truck, and you'll have a much more usable truck.
One thing you didn’t check when you had it running was if the battery was being charged. As the regulator only had 3 connections you might have to ground the heat sink on the regulator to get the battery to charge.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but 99% sure that your engine is a Tecumseh luckily enough though your one is one of the better ones that doesn't just seize up.

Congrats on the Kohler start up. Please spend the 5 dollars for a bushing or bearing in the starter, and show the rebuild on video. Thanks
Good choice for the truck ,sounds a great old thumper ! Electric start gotta be better than the old armstrong starters !!.
Kohler engines here in u.s. we're very heavy duty and of high quality. Should make you a great engine.
Cant wait to see it in situ runds well
She sounds nice 😀
I have my own Bachelor mancave, ahhhh
Grate little engine sound like bit bike or quad
a combination of fluffy and Spiders

I think your right there, Tecumseh HH120 by the looks of it
Yes a HH series I think would be right.
yes it is a tecumseh .
Bodger is at it again.
It really amuses me that you blow all the dust and spider webs, all over the workshop, your tools and the camera. 😂. Good job
I use a wooden Dowling sharpen like a pencil put in a drill and clean neadle seat like a drillbit
Nice! I guess a bamboo skewer would work nicely as well. I tend to keep some around my shed, useful for all sorts of things!
You could probably do with a hydraulic lifting table 😊
Here I am shouting "lube the starter motor Bendix while the covers off" but you couldn't hear me, never mind.
Thanks for blowing fluffy pee all over the dinner on my lap! 🤣
Think perhaps Mustie1 could give a dew tips.
Just for your attention can you zoom camera out more as alot of time we cannot see what you are doing
I think you have a Tecumseh engine not a Kohler.
58 mins, villiers are better and these were not fitted till the mid to late 60s
well I like the USA made B&S but the Chinese B&S is junk. I didnt like Techumseh engines, Kohler is good
