Why is it always Google/Android that gets taken to court. Apples iPhone and tablets are locked to there own services etc but hey it's ok for them but not google
I had a same question. But what I've read and understood is that Google is anti-competitive because it allowed competition but showed monopolistic behavior. Apple is not because it didn't allow any competition in the first place. Ridiculous, I know! 😐 At least EU is calling everyone out, including Apple, to make things interoperable.
If I have to guess it's because there's a even larger lawsuit coming for Apple in which more investigation needs to be done and they want to get the Google lawsuit done as quickly as possible

So a company who grew into a large corporation is monopolizing the market by implementing business strategies to help/make them stay at the top? Isn't this what most of these big corporations do?
The only thing that frustrates me about Google is that their search engine is overrun with sponsored links so whenever you’re trying to search for something, it doesn’t take you directly to what you want you have to jump through and search multiple pages just to try to find what you want most of the time because all the links are paid to boost them up in the search results and they don’t even try to make their search engine better because they have no competition

Company's make it difficult to do. I remember changing browsers with a couple of clicks and now you have to go through a fucking labyrinth of BS just to even get close to doing so
I was going to go from the s23 ultra to the s25 ultra(when it releases) mainly for the 7 years of updates. But now seeing this I'll likely root my phone.

Didn't Microsoft get hit by something like this from the government back in the days, and the outcome was that Windows' phone got obliterated and now ceased to exist??

If Google has to share their API, they should make all tech companies share their API

they are also in court, the EU is the reason why they have to use USB-C and the DOJ and Epic have sued Apple over having a monopoly

I'll be very sad if android ceases to exist before 7 years of promised updates. 😂
Google has enough money to drag this out for a while

The DOJ must crack down on the insane volume of TH-cam ads

Isn't google a usa société

I like it the way it is
But who were they gonna use for search instead? Bing😂
They want you to login everywhere with them too. Now the one on EBAY has no "X" button to close. Still failed to get me to do it but it's noticeable.
Well informed video! Thanks for this.
The clip at 6:33 made me smile 😆 "helth"
But I loved how it looked 👀
There are some major implications this has and will impact on TH-cam aswell

Take your pick of companies it happens across the board in most if not all industries lol
In my opinion, the remedy to the DOJ lawsuit should be limited to the Google Play Store, not all of Google.
I think they should just make Googles ad business not so frickin massive
leave Google alone!!!!!
if you want options - then switch!!!

People are really that dumb to realize they can change their default search engine?
