Hi! Just a doubt: does Google value the comments on my own blog to give me a higher DR? I mean, is it the same if a blog post gets cero comments or 1000? Does it make any difference to DR? Thanks!
That's a tough question to answer and it's really up to your own interpretation in terms of ranking. Here are a few things to think about. 1. Getting comments (assuming the page goes to a new URL) should decrease bounce rate. 2. If someone leaves a comment, they've likely spent more time engaging on your page. 3. Comments are user generated content.
Hey, great video.. Do you recommend author bios in guest posts.. I heard Google doesn't like link building via guest posts and they can detect it with author bios
John Mueller has recently repeated his statement about guest blogging. As he said all of them must be rel="nofollow". Even in the author bio. That basically means no more link juice from guest blogs. So what shall we do now? Any other method on link building?
Hey Sam, I cant seem to find the button where I can export all the 100 serp result, I think the toolbar has been updated? is it still possible to do that?
Hi again :0) is it good to have backlinks from NOT ".de“ German Domains for a ".de" German domain, when they are in the "Same Theme" or it’s still bad even if they are in the same theme? If its ok, should the content, text and link be in English or in German?
Good video. i find some tips to get guest post. But i have a question that what about Article Directories. if i submit a article in ezine or any other big Article Directory is this also relevant
There isn't an exact "formula" or number you should use. This will vary depending on the piece of content. And we don't encourage "writing the same piece and distributing it to everyone." The "Splintering technique" gives you an opportunity to go deeper into different sub-topics which can be valuable for other sites you guest post on. -Sam
Been trying the robin hood technique but lots of domains I'm putting into content explorer are coming back with "no results were found" even though they have many blog posts.
We have certain requirements for websites to be added to our Content index. You can also try and search by topic. To keep it relevant, set it to a "title" search and you should be able to find some solid articles. Let us know if you still need a hand doing this. 😀
Hey Sam, I wanted to ask if some site agreed to guest post my content and I research, write and send content to them. They take my content and published to their site without mentioning and linking to me. What to do then? Isn't this waste of my time and they got a good content for free?
Indeed, it is a waste of your time and also unfortunate that they were unethical. That's why it's important to do research into the site and see how they treat their guest posts, before you even pitch them. - SQ
I have a doubt. In guest blogging, in the introductory email, can we send the link to the blog post which we want to publish or just send an introductory mail and wait for their acceptance and then give the blog post URL?
Most authoritative sites would want to see original content published on their blog. So, it is likely they prefer to pick the topic you'll write about first, rather than accept a full post you've already published somewhere else. - SQ

Guest posting no longer works, Google has said they ignore guest post backlinks. If you write an article on another person's site under your own name, with a backlink to your own site, that doesn't give you any link juice.
@@AhrefsCom The video was useful, but that's not what I meant. What I wanted to say is that the video is not really about scaling in my opinion since scaling is about streamlining and simplifying the process in order to make it repeatable. I am not sure this video shared any real scaling tips.
Stan, We shared several different techniques with just a simple sample on how to find possible prospects or ideas for guest posts. I guess you can just replace a topic in our sample and perform exactly the same steps to find more prospects. Should be a good portion of work to do at scale, if you can come up with some nice ideas related to your business. - Max
This is all good and candy, but you never mention in your baclklinking strategies that links should be dofollow. Which means your theoretical numbers are false. Even if you write 100 letters and get 10 confirmations, you would get 1-2 free dofollow(free means they wont charge you for dofollow) link max. Does that worth your time? Highly doubt that.
There are certainly a lot sites that will ask for money. But there's just as many sites out there that will do it for free, granted, your content is great :)

why would you assume that for writing content you need to hire freelancers? "how big is your wallet", if you gonna blog post you better know what you are talking about
Think about a small ecommerce website that want to generate some traffic with a blog. Business owner does not want to create content, so hiring a freelancer is a great solution in this case. But I agree with you, if you go for blogging yourself, you have to be an expert within a niche you are talking about. - Max
Too bad Ahrefs reduce the functionality of their plans overnight without informing their customers or waiting until their next billing cycle to allow them to make informed decisions. This company has some very poor ethics. F them!
