    Getting backlink is like your job interview sometime. It will take some time.
    Facebook outreach is also working good for me. You can see even more details about the person there.
    Thank you for the wonderful video. I’m using ahrefs from last 3 years and you’ve done a great job.

      Good point! It can take some time and it's definitely worth the patience and persistence. Good to hear you're finding new ways to reach people :)

    Like a boss! Thanks Sam. Never bounce is a must before sending email. Somethimes some emails fail too even never bounce checked. Once I read one Creative tip to Get a link from an Influencer. This was a comment But the URL was modified with Analytics URL Creator so the owner could see this from Analytics panel. Great one.

    5:00 technically _any_ form of link building is against Google's ToS IIRC; it's just not enforceable in many cases because you can't distinguish between naturally-occurring links and links that are built. That's why the broken link and citation follow up link building tactics - as mentioned in the video - are so effective.
    Another tactic hinted at in the video but not explored too in-depth is finding situations where people made claims but don't source their information, giving you an opportunity to say "hey, I have some research that backs up your statement about x. Feel free to use it to really drive your point home."

      @@AhrefsCom Hey there, I have done a mistake. I have sent over 150+ emails in last 3 days using email templates found on blogs like backlinko and just using generic emails. Please Can you tell me how can I rectify my mistake? I was really new to this whole SEO world. Should I just close my blog now? because I don't see how can I send the email again. No one has even replied yet! :/ (I wish I saw this vid earlier)

      You lost just 150 contacts (considering they were good prospects with valid e-mails). There a lot more out there... Think about the mistakes that you committed and how you can avoid them with future outreach. Are you sure your content is link-worthy? Do you target the right prospects? @@AhrefsCom Why did not I come across this channel before? I just lost my month's hardwork in 3 days. Damn it all. I tried broken link,guest blogging,Link Roundups etc etc and all failed. Thanks a lot for replying. I have just got one more question! Please reply- Is the keyword difficulty only metric to see even if our blog can be ranked since Im a single man army so can't go for competitive keywords. How much keyword difficulty should I stop at? Like Should I stop at 30 or 40 or 50? I shouldn't even try to rank a blog if keyword difficulty is 50 or 40? Any idea? Can you give me an idea? Please, your reply could mean everything for me!

    • @AhrefsCom
      @AhrefsCom  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Keyword Difficulty is not as reliable as you think. It is a metric that tells you how easy it is to rank for a given keyword, but it is relative metric. Analyze the search intent, check the top 10 results for a given keyword, analyze their backlink strength and make a decision if you are able to possibly outrank competitors or no. Hello, thoughts on link velocity? like say build too many links on a new domain?

    • @AhrefsCom
      @AhrefsCom  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If velocity is high during certain period of time naturally - I do not think you will get any problems.
      Assume you published a piece of content that "boomed" the world, everybody will link to original source. Will Google penalize you?

    what if outreach does not work in your place? In my country, Vietnam, people do not have the concept of outreach. They rather go spamming forums than outreaching. And they spin original content instead of politely linking to it as a source :(

    • @AhrefsCom
      @AhrefsCom  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Emma, this is a perfect opportunity for you to be on top of the competition! I am sure your backlinks from authoritative resources will bring you much more value than forum links from low DR sites. As for the content, Google Panda gets better from year to year, so publishing unique content is more beneficial in a long term game. Just my personal opinion.
