Why the hell would they finally do something good with Luchasaurus and Christian Cage now has heat and is one of the best heels in the business, only to have Luchasaurus not protect Christian Cage after Jungle Boy returns with a chair to attack Cage with? Right after they just squashed the Varsity Blondes?
That was stupid. That show is officially doomed without Punk and Danielson. Man that was bad.
Disagree. They haven't even explained why Luchasaurus is/was with Christian. It's dumb to instantly complain and not wait to see how things play out.

The fact that it wasn’t explained, and the trajectory of the angle has been changed without explanation is a part of the problem with the recent development of Jungle Boy’s return in my opinion.
Christian turns on Jungle Boy after he and Luchasaurus lose the tag titles. Luchasaurus comes out to confront Cage the following week and is pacified by Cage so he can speak with with Cage backstage.
Then he comes out with all black ring gear and a new theme. He becomes Christian’s enforcer squashing opponents , then a short time later, Jungle Boy returns and Luchasaurus steps aside to allow Jungle Boy to chase Christian into the stands.
The angle is jumping all over the place with no initial explanation like you said. It’s dumb to instantly complain without seeing how things play out, yet it was dumb to create this angle with no explanation only to shift it a few weeks into its push on a nationally televised wrestling program.

Scott hall was great but he fucked up his own pushes and being unreliable to be a world champion.

If you think for a second that they are actually back together then you are crazy. This reeks of a swerve.... I can probably already tell you what's going to happen in one of the next three scenarios.
1. Christian attacks Jack. Jack gets help from Lucha who then turns on him and beats him down with Christian.
2. Christian saying something during a back and forth promo between him and Jack that signals for Lucha to attack.
3. They have a tag match and win. Lucha lifts Jack on his shoulders to celebrate. Christian appears at the ramp and then Lucha electric chairs him (similar Evolution turning on Randy).
Out of the three, I think the last one is most likely to happen.

I agree with Jim and Bryan about the table spots being over done in wrestling, especially on AEW. People go through more tables in one show than what the average person would buy in their lifetime lol
I have a feeling, with how long Christian has been in the business, that Christian told Tony this is how we should do this storyline, because it's classic wrestling storyline. You have the heel attack the babyface, putting the babyface out of action, and while the babyface is out, the heel gets a monster to do his bidding, and the monster goes out and just destroying people like crazy, while leaving the fans knowing, once the babyface is able to come back, he'll want to get his hands on the heel, but would have to go through the monster first. I've seen that story played out many times in wrestling, just different people, but that story works, so it is nice to see it being played out here.
That is exactly how it should have gone. It's a wrestling story as old as time. Feels like someone got a bit of cold feet on this one though.

Lucha's new outlook is great, and what they should've done from the start. If he's going to do backflips and spin kicks, that shit should come out once or twice a year where it really matters but otherwise having him talk sparingly and being vicious is wonderful.

You're gonna hate what they did on this week's most recent Wednesday night edition of Dynamite, Jim. They've now ruined the Christian Cage/Jungle Boy/Luchasaurus angle in one felt swoop! Get ready to be totally dumbfounded.

AEW fans don't believe in diminishing returns when their company does it. They complain about WWE having the same stuff over and over, but AEW can literally have bawls, blood, dangerous stunts, career threatening attacks every week and that's okay. They don't think any of that stuff will ever have less impact because it had already been done every week.
So, I listened to this clip after watching last night’s Dynamite and…uh…oooooffffffffff. I dunno if there’s been a faster turn around from Jim saying something nice about a performer then them immediately blowing it.
Convoluted though it may be (because Tony loves hats on hats) I’m kinda hoping this leads to Luchasaurus being on no one’s side and just resenting anyone trying to control him. Otherwise they completely blew up a potentially great program for a single pop.
This was working and looking good. So of course they have Dino turn babyface back with Jungke Boy last night. 🙄
Well last nights AEW was 2 hours of hot garbage! Jim should have a field day reviewing this train wreck of a wrestling show!

Christian Cage is everything you want in a wrestler. It's awful that Vince couldn't get past his face and the way he looked.
Why was Vince supposed to get over the way Christian looked? Vince is not in the business of pushing "wrestlers" as opposed to someone who can appeal to an audience that doesn't exist in the hardcocre wrestling fan bubble.
I turned the channel to see what was going on with AEW for the week, and I see the patent-pending turtleneck.
Me: Cool, if it was mandatory for me to watch AEW shows from start to finish, these are the segments I’d look forward.
Me after realizing what was going on: Oh, no. They got the Randy Orton Deluxe table for this segment.
Also, on the babyface side of this feud, I’d care more if Pillman were in Jungle Boy’s spot and had been properly booked. Jungle Boy has been consistently featured for three years. He is not the person to have been given all of that time, especially with all of the traumatic experiences of being 5 feet away from a microphone.
That just shows how much money his dad paid for his spotlight(i know he's deceased). It wouldn't be as bad if jungle boy hadn't came out and said publicly that he runs from promos
