These had one major niggle, as far as I remember. There was a little slide towards the rear of a board which, I think, changed from internal to external reference, or something like that. It drove me nuts that something this exquisite didn't have the function brought out to its control panel. I hated having to pull the board out to change it.
this was the only machine made were you could play german tapes oxide out on a oxidein headblock. telefunken and studer made separate models just for oxide out tapes.this one shown is ex bbc as the control panel is not same as original version

コメント、誠に有難う御座います。音楽関係のお仕事だったんですね！TAは他社メーカーに比べて小型なんで移動に便利、ソニーの編集機にも繋がりますので、アナログ機器としては長寿だったんだと思います。また、ご指摘通りサーボ技術や安定度は当時としては抜群でした。30年位前ですが、カリフォルニアの「ブエナビスタ」と言うポストプロダクションのデジタル化改修工事時にお話しを頂き、無理に送ってもらった機材です。送料が超高額で驚きましたが、納品時に特大の木枠梱包をフォークリフトで玄関先に置いて行かれたのには参りました。一度フルにオーバーホールし、ヘッドは正確なギャツプに研ぎだして頂きました。父がナグラの輸入の仕事をしておりました関係か？ナグラは大好きで、デジタル機器まで含めて随分集めました。独特な精密感が日本人の感性に合っているんだと思います。

Looks to be a beautiful machine. I've used the smaller Nagra's and always been impressed by their build and versatility.
When the tape started it had a Riders On The Storm (Doors) vive, but geeking out over the recorder.
