I think cabins far out into the woods like that are pretty safe from vandalism. Generally, people who hike difficult locations like that are not a bunch of drugged up layabouts who get pleasure out of destroying other people's property. They're more likely to be like this guy - he stayed in the cabin but he cleaned and repaired while he was there. He obviously appreciated staying there and was very careful to leave it the way he found it - actually, he left it BETTER than he found it!
That is an interesting design with the stove being loaded from the outside. Never seen that before. Keeps the inside cleaner and free of insects and spiders that like to overwinter in firewood. Plus it keeps the interior free of smoke if the stove doesn't draw well. Neat! 🙂
Interesting to say the least. And I don't think that's a stove. Looked like some homemade boiler. Stoves don't have drain spigots with leaky wood bungs. Also wondering if that seat plank next to the boiler wasn't a replacement bench for a defunct indoor privy (toilet)

I loved watching you fix the roof on the porch by yourself. That took some serious ingenuity. I don't much care whether this cabin was "abandoned" or not. No one was there when you got there so at least temporarily it was abandoned. Also, I didn't see a lot of belongings that would make me think someone was living there and had just gone away for a few days. To me it appeared to be empty. And if someone WAS living there, I hope their trip would include their stopping by a store somewhere and purchasing a few cleaning supplies. A broom would be a good place to start.
They had a broom already there. A very ingenious broom made from some kind of dried grass. It worked very well, and who wants to climb the mountain trails involved while they're carrying a 6-foot wooden-handled house from? The broom made from grasses and tree sticks did the job perfectly well.

It must have been abandoned a few days ago. Leftovers from a loaf of bread still white, snow cleared even to the stream it’s always nice scenery and he cooks great food. Everything he has in his bag is amazing, like he knew what he needed. Still like his videos, like the shelters he builds himself better.

They showed it to him and he had been there before. He explained on another channel that there are problems with the lease of land, it is for demolition.
Oh I don't know why people would have a problem with whether or not he lied in the title of his video. 🤷🏻♀️ Maybe because, believe it or not, some of us still expect people to tell the TRUTH about WTF they're posting on a channel to thousands and thousands of followers! Strange concept in this day and age when people expect a lie and are shocked when they're actually told the truth 😳 However, I'd like to think the majority of people still expect the truth, not lies 🙄
Three screws, a coat hanger and pulled/pushed a tin sheet over a rafter hardly constitutes as a "ton of work". He could have used one screw to secure that loose board had he put the screw into the loose board. But he didn't, he put 2 screws into a completely (obviously) different bit of timber. It's good you enjoyed the video, it is a nice cabin set in what looks like a scenic spot.
I feel like I was invited in and not watching from half a world away. I had just sat down to my supper so it also felt like I had dinner company. Thank you🕯🍴🍲🍞☕
Most of these "abandoned" cabins belong to people that build their escape cabins in the woods. They aren't abandoned at all, but you are welcome to use them if you leave them as you find them. I've watched many videos of people building their little cabins and dugouts. I hope everyone will respect these properties and clean up and restock anything used. Happy cabin hunting.
Wow that is one helluva coincidence that you “found” this cabin and cameras happened to be strategically placed inside and outside the cabin to document it all! There was even a drone hovering in the sky at the same time!
Loved this! I am assuming this was deliberately filmed by the OP. If I were the one who found this, I would check out the cabin, its surroundings, make a path for myself to follow, set up my tripods and start doing my own takes as if I came upon it just now. Discovery and the visual of it are fantastic for viewers. Then I would use a drone to get good images of the place as B-reel shots of the property to fill in time gaps that may not have filmed so pretty. Likely I would have done this while my food was cooking and so the shots would be after I cleaned out the fire place and lit it up. OR I would have found the place and come back on a nice day to help out with maintenance and still do all the above. In any case, this was a wonderful video. Thanks! and Bonus: A recipe! 😁
Love what your doing to it, would love that life, drama and stress free, fare play to you your doing an amazing job, I think the simple things in life are always better💖💐
Obviously not him. Can't even get a loose bit of wood fixed cause he didn't understand that for screws to work, you have to put them into the bit of wood that's loose, not the bit next to it haha. It is a well built cabin though. Credit to whoever actually did it
It would be nice if you added captions. For example, sharing your thoughts at certain points would be interesting . Having to feed the heater from the outside to boil the water in the boiler seems like a pain especially there is a small firebox. Good luck with the cabin.
From the comments I knew it was coming but wen I saw it it broke my heart. I know you cried I know I did. How can anyone do that? Maybe it was a bear there are disgusting humans though. Was a wonderful place after u fixed it up.God Bless you. 💜
Light fireplace then clean cabin. Snow was cleared away from door and fireplace area before he came upon. Path cleared to creek as well. Cute cabin. Fun camping gadgets.
100% not abandoned. Footprints everywhere, snow is cleared from the entrance, rodents havent made nests, pretty clean except for a bit of dust, logs and fireplace are in excellent shape. This cabin is not meant to be lived in, maybe for weekend enjoyment or seasonal hunting or maybe a parks cabin you can reserve when hiking.
Hello Dima! I Like IT so much to watch you doing your Thing! Keep your Power alive! Show Them People around The World how we can live in Nature, and save Nature! 👍👍👍💪🙏
Love it. Reminds me of the old Trapper Cabins we'd stay at throughout all seasons on the weekends in Alaska. Except, they didn't have the weird outdoor stove... What's up with that, anyway? You have to continue to feed it from only outside, or did I miss something.
It's a good thing he brought a broom with them most people that go out hiking in the woods don't bring a broom. Also it's a good thing he found this abandoned cabin because he would have a heck of a Time preparing this meal out in the wild.
Perfect location near fresh water. Please show us during warm months. Covered outdoor space and decks. Table corners removed to avoid injury. Plush. Can't imagine hauling materials/kit to that location.
He borrowed the cabin to film this. Definitely not abandoned. The owner is probably doing the filming and provided the food. It is indeed a beautiful cabin.
Definitely brought tools to fix it up so he had already been there. I do a lot of hiking in the woods and I’m not about to take a portable drill and a heater unless I have a specific use for them because I wouldn’t want the extra weight. I fixed up an abandoned shack years ago and used for 25 years took a lot of trips walking in and canoeing in to get all the stuff in. Wish mine looked that good the first time I saw it. Nice place hope you can use it as long as I did mine. 😁
I think you are doing 95% right but I'm sorry too say one of the only things I will say. I've built houses for over 50 years now. I think only my opinion but I think you should put a few more support beams under the metal roof so it will last much longer. I really enjoy and relax watching your show on Utube. Thanks you and may you have a blessed day and night my friend.

Agree, and if you look outside the cabin, someone cleaned the snow around the cabin and also, there was small pathway to the stream...so it seems to me like someone was there not to long time ago.....plus, the cabin is in very good shape, not to look over the patio roof, that could be done in one storm......
Snow removal done? Abandoned? The thing will be full of cobwebs. Not!
pro has permission from the owners to use it
Not abandoned. Recently shoveled. lol
@@abc-ym8nt He probably did some prepping before filming.
Superbe promenade, et comme toujours les prises de vues avec le drone sont superbes, belle réussite de vôtre vidéo, à bientôt cordialement Mr PEREZ.
Eu gosto muito de assistir essas coisas achou muito legal mesmo 😁😁😁
Well-built with a tight little board floor. Nice.
You have been given a prize for your explorations. You will certainly care for it as those who built it.
Love this! ❤️. Pay no mind to some of these comments. Misery loves company.
Absolutely AGREE. Can't believe some of the snarky comments.
I spent many years in the wilderness cooking like that, I'm 74 now and can't do that anymore , Bul love watching others.
It's called a hunters cabin. Open to hunters..for a place to sleep, eat, hunt and rest. No,this cabin IS NOT ABANDONED!!! It's there on purpose
We have to pick up our little minds and say Thank God he found a safe place to lay his head and be safe AMEN.
Abandoned or not the craftsmanship on that cabin is really good.
I love every move you make....what I enjoy most is that there is no talking....🙏
It would be nice to have been given some history about this cabin
Nice you made improvements and cleaned up and went on you way, whoever owns this will be happy
Me encanta ver a un hombre arreglando cosas😁 Muy bella cabaña y el paisaje es sublime como nuestra Patagonia en el sur de mi pais Argentina , felicitaciones amigo y tienes una nueva subscriptora
Who cares whether or not he found it, good grief! I enjoyed the video and the cabin obviously needed a ton of work and he did it
They showed it to him and he had been there before.
"No one has been here in a long time." Except for the guy who left the footprints in the snow and cleared the snow away from in front of the door. Lol
it was probably him.
@@mchrysogelos7623 LOL
How lucky for him, its clean, looks great. That doesnt happen to everyone lol
Was gibt's besseres als ein Mann mit handwerklichen Fähigkeiten 😊😘
I feel like I was invited in and not watching from half a world away. I had just sat down to my supper so it also felt like I had dinner company. Thank you🕯🍴🍲🍞☕
Most of these "abandoned" cabins belong to people that build their escape cabins in the woods. They aren't abandoned at all, but you are welcome to use them if you leave them as you find them. I've watched many videos of people building their little cabins and dugouts. I hope everyone will respect these properties and clean up and restock anything used. Happy cabin hunting.
Amazing looking those stuffed peppers are. Crafty you are sir.
Whoever built it it is really well done
Thanks Dima, for another great video! Always love your peaceful, calming shows! Beautiful! Stay warm!!!
👍 *Nice forest cabin but does not look abandoned*
Absolutely loved watching this!! 😊
That’s crazy, there was already a camera inside recording your entrance 😲 just playin.. love the vids
Love what your doing to it, would love that life, drama and stress free, fare play to you your doing an amazing job, I think the simple things in life are always better💖💐
Whomever built this log cabin is an expert builder.
Obviously not him. Can't even get a loose bit of wood fixed cause he didn't understand that for screws to work, you have to put them into the bit of wood that's loose, not the bit next to it haha. It is a well built cabin though. Credit to whoever actually did it
I guess if you look at the date on bay on the table you would get a good idea when some one was there. Still interesting and a nice hut for sure
It would be nice if you added captions. For example, sharing your thoughts at certain points would be interesting . Having to feed the heater from the outside to boil the water in the boiler seems like a pain especially there is a small firebox. Good luck with the cabin.
If you go to his Russian channel, he explains as he works. I turn on captions to translate. This is an old sauna, I believe.
@@21nixonme6 Found it. Thx!
He does add captions sometimes. Agree with that outdoor fireplace. seems awkward.
@M Chrysogelos it is kind of weird, but it is primarily to just heat the water tank up for the sauna, and that's it. It is still weird, though....
Absolutely beautiful place. ❤
Thank you , Dima .
🐺
Thanks for the fantasy film. It was a fun visit!
Πολύ καλή δουλειά!! μπράβο που επισκευάζεις τα καταφύγια!!!
From the comments I knew it was coming but wen I saw it it broke my heart. I know you cried I know I did. How can anyone do that? Maybe it was a bear there are disgusting humans though. Was a wonderful place after u fixed it up.God Bless you. 💜
Very nice. I sure hope they don't tear this one up.
Sympa vos vidéos !! Ça fait du bien à la tête de les regarder !! Bravo !! 👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤘
Yes it really is. It's more relaxing than you realize.
When on the mountains in Canada there are cabins like this. My friend said they are survival cabins set there by forestry .
It's a good thing he brought a broom with them most people that go out hiking in the woods don't bring a broom. Also it's a good thing he found this abandoned cabin because he would have a heck of a Time preparing this meal out in the wild.
He even carried a electric drill to this abandoned cabin that's forethought
He prepares his food "out in the wild" quite often - and does it very well.
Wow a very pleasant walk in the forest.

It's clear to me that Dima found the cabin and had already cleared snow and started a fire before shooting this video! What a find!
Adoro esses vídeos, mas ele fez todo aquele suspense pra entrar e por magia tinha uma câmera lá dentro gravando a entrada dele...mesmo assim gosto demais desses vídeos!!
Fantastic find!! You are blessed wuth fux it skills AND cooking like that!! Looked yummy!! Safe
travels!!
Cover your tracks 👣 ✨️ be safe
It’s a little funny there was no snow surrounding the cabin and it was a bit clean someone must have been there before him not a bad find thank you for sharing 👍🙏
Uncle George appreciates the home improvements! 😆 🤣
Hola saludos.
Si la nieve no esta acumulada y los troncos caídos.
Entonces la cabaña no esta abandonada .
Por lo que se ve hace poco que otra persona estuvo ahí.
Saludos que disfrutes
Who abandons a cabin it looks as if it was built by a professional,he also seems to know his way around pretty well.
well the rope lock does not look professional not even a child's play
I enjoy just seeing the layout of these cabins, the beauty of the surroundings, items taken and used to live in the "bush", no matter how found. BUT.....who brings wardrobe hooks, drills, nails or a serving tray when camping? Enjoyed it anyway.👍
Toujours agréable à regarder , et un grand respect pour les androits découvert en les réparants . Au top , merci du paratge au naturel .
First thing I do at my "abandoned cabin" is clean too.👌(trail of footprints to cabin , table cleaned off)
I believe he found it some weeks before hence he carried tools to fix it up
Oh I love stuffed bell peppers
You have a nice place in the
Wilderness Ginger L Al USA
Was he carrying all that equipment just in case he found an abandoned cabin?
Plus, someone should’ve told the guy who built it that he put the log fire on the wrong side of the wall
It's not wrong side,it's a sauna!
Not if the person lived outside !

@@emilyprendergast2296 I don't know about you but i always carry a battery drill with fully charged battery just in case i chance upon an abandoned cabin ?
A Beautiful hunting/trappers cabin 😍 ♥️. This is definitely not a lost cabin 😀 😉. The man is definitely familiar with it .
Wow. This cabin was built with a lot of care and to be very comfortable.
What purpose is served by having an outdoor fed fireplace?
No sparks inside the cabin
The only thing I can think of is it won't draw cold air into the cabin for combution/draft.
it's not the cabin. It is a russian sauna :-)
If you remenber there was a metal cylinder inside the cabin. The exaust flue heat's the water inside"remember the drip?" It's like a radaitor or a boiler without steam preasure👌
@@ytronyak Okay, so the entire thing was supposed to be used as a sauna? I have some blueprints to make one of those - it has the same thing - and 'outdoor' fireplace, but I thought there was something inside too? Can't remember would have to go look again. Interesting. I know they do that sauna stuff a lot too. He once took a 'dip' in the FRIGID lake he was camping near - was a bit scary. he had cut out a huge chunk of ice to get to the water, and then he got in it. Yikes. (supposed to be very good for health)
It’s really well made I just love it. Thanks for this beautiful video❤
